  1. Chelsea-Real Madrid is on CBS and Univision. I think the other one is only Paramount+ streaming
  2. Pretty much wire-to-wire domination. City shouldn't have to kill themselves to finish this off next week, which is immediately followed by Sheffield FA Cup final and the massive Arsenal clash.
  3. Yeah, it's rare for such a scrutinized show to pull off a surprise like that. And throughout the ep and into next week, we still have no idea what anyone is going to do.
  4. Phillies check in. I'm always a pessimist at the beginning, expecting injuries to cause the bottom to fall out. We already have major injuries (Harper, Hoskins, Ranger Suarez, Andrew Painter) so at least there's been some time to prepare. Some unheralded guys need to break out, at least for a few weeks at a time. NL East is so tough at the top. Braves should win it basically wire to wire. I think the Mets are a bit overrated (gasp) and won't wreck shop like last season.
  5. 6 bedrooms, 18 bathrooms??? As a middle aged man with a terrible diet, I appreciate that but it seems a little much
  6. The new three-part Netflix doc "American Apocalypse" doesn't add significant new info, but definitely some new footage both inside and outside the compound. Plus very helpful 3D animation of the battles...I always had a hard time figuring out who was where based on the 90s quality footage.
  7. Quick glance makes me think Red Five is in the driver's seat. Six teams still alive including 7 seed MSU
  8. Iowa is banged up and playing Duke two days earlier won't help. And Vic would coach circles around Kara Lawson with a Final Four berth on the line. But first, Louisville is playing well. Can't look ahead
  9. Great comic actor too. Best character in the very dark comedy Corporate
  10. Nine of you fuckers picked Furman smh
  11. Just dropping in to opine the Big City Green live animation of NYR-WAS on Disney Channel is hilarious. Unlike the NFL/Nick project, this contains zero actual footage from the game, but the puck and players are tracked exactly by location. Big yellow ape is in net for WAS, and a grandmother at goalie for NYR. Other little side attractions too. Based on a few minutes, this is way more entertaining than casually having a game on you don't care much about
  12. Baylor, Boise State, UConn, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Utah State, VCU and the Pitt/Miss St winner
  13. Lost to Penn and Cornell, I wouldn't worry about this one
  14. Duke probably gets to play in the same building (Greensboro) next week as they're on the cusp of a 4 seed
  15. I love the JAJ Trump as long as it's not every week. Just about every line is funny but also mostly plausible. He was kind of the same as Bill Walton on WU. Absolutely nailed the voice and style. I doubt much of the audience follows Walton as a broadcaster if they know him at all, but it still worked. Less than usual Bowen Yang, but he and Woody were perfect in the classy gym sketch.
  16. It struck me as odd that he starred in the laughably horrible Megadalon Rising (2021). Must have been desperate for money and/or just tripping
  17. Vitale's neighborhood in Sarasota: Fletch : You ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation? Calculus Entropy : Well I heard something about it, but I don't recall exactly. It didn't get too much publicity around these here parts.
  18. NFL with only 32 teams is able to spend a ton of money on quick, professional replay systems and personnel. College has to account for C-USA stadiums with cables dangling out of the press box, and retired refs who never even learned how to FF/REV on a VCR.
  19. I thought Juju's original was kinda funny tbh. But he seems to be getting ratio'd by other players
  20. That's not at all how he operates. Hurts will get his monster contract, just creatively spread out. Some good players will come back, some will go for the money. Most of the contract decisions are on defense, which I do agree wasn't as good as the numbers indicated. Having the #10 and #30 picks in the first round will help.
  21. The whole NFC was mediocre. Who exactly would have given the Chiefs a better game? The Eagles won't be 14-3 next season, probably lose at KC on opening night. But they will correctly be the favorite for the 1 seed.
  22. Bradberry assumed, like many of us, he could get away with a common infraction at that point in the game. Just as notable was it looked like Mahomes saw it all the way and purposely threw it there to force the ref to throw a flag.
  23. The call felt out of place under the circumstances, but it wasn't like the Saints-Rams total bullshit in 2019. KC simply played a better game over 60 minutes. The Eagles made some killer mistakes including that hold. We needed 40+ to win, which was attainable but it didn't happen.
