  1. I demand you provide support for this outlandish claim
  2. Honestly he’s been doing good work at UNLV.
  3. First and foremost, lol. Second, and I’m being like 70% serious, me and all the Applewhite truthers were unequivocally vindicated in the 2001 Big 12 championship game. If we start Applewhite we win that game by 3 scores. And as much as I hated losing, I think the 4 quarter may still be the most fun I’ve ever had at a sporting event. Start Applewhite, and we don’t have to listen to KSU and fucking Baylor brag about having as many Big 12 titles as we do.
  4. Are these stats specific to zone coverage? Because Mitchell has 9 Tads so I don’t see how Worthy can lead the Big 12.
  5. Oh wow. That’s hilarious, but fuck you. I’m not sure how you managed to kick my sense of nostalgia in the nuts, I didn’t even know nostalgia had nuts, but you goddamn well did.
  6. Hasn't everyone who has been to a game seen them all in person?
  7. I went to CoogFans to see what they were talking about re: Dana sticking around. I don't recommend the site. One of the regulars knows a guy who knows a guy who says Dana is done after this season. That's not what I've come to share with you, however. While I was there I decided to look at some of their gripes about our game, and they did not disappoint. Lots of incoherent rage, but my favorite thing was this AI generated image: Other than the four nose holes, it's a work of art. I can't wait to post it after the ISU game when the clones start to bitch about the calls. Because you know they will.
  8. His wife is an Aggie and he's from out of state, so I assume he just gets fed a load of bullshit from all her friends and their husbands. He's also a poor man's Skip Bayless who makes his bread saying dumb shit.
  9. They've already won six games, which is a banner year at ISU. All he needs is a narrow win over Northern Illinois in the Belk Bowl to cement his "all time great" status for the clones. Regardless of how Saturday goes, their program is pathetic and should have been relegated to the FCS years ago.
  10. I got into Florida football while I dated a girl from Jacksonville. Given how things went and her general demeanor, "alligators are my favorite animal" was a much better reason.
  11. Aren't we all lawyers? Other than the nurses, obviously.
  12. This is why lawyers are better. They're too greedy to let anyone else steal your money but too chickenshit to steal all of it for themselves. Now if they could only do math.
  13. Anyone remember when we used to have screenshots in this thread? Good times.
  14. For anyone who is slow like me, the tweet looks like Chadwell sent it while in Starkville, MS
  15. Texas is leaving the Big 12 because the conference is full of passionate but unimportant teams, and the gap between Texas and the programs in its peer group is only going to widen as time goes on if Texas doesn't move. I don't even dislike the Big 12 that much, but program like ISU, KSU, OSU, Baylor, and Tech do not have the resources or the fanbases to draw sufficient national attention. When you're good, people will say "neat" and immediately forget about it. They don't care that your coaches have great records or that you're "doing more with less" as developers of talent. No one gives a shit and they never will. Texas has nothing to win by beating teams like ISU and everything to lose. The writing has been on the wall since Nebraska and A&M left, so bitch at them if you really need to bitch at someone. I would respect your fans more if you didn't, however. I'd rather you just said "thank you" for the years of unearned money and attention that you drew based on proximity to Texas and programs like it. Because Texas didn't kill the Big 12 - shitty programs with shitty fanbases on no resources did. Here's tip: if an employee leaves a company and the company falls apart, you don't blame the employee for killing the company. The employee was the one holding everything together. If you can't stand on your own then you have no one to blame but yourself, and certainly not the person who's been propping you up for almost 30 years. None of this matters though. ISU (or OSU/KSU/Tech whoever) should learn to enjoy being king of a small mountain. You can still watch your team win and lose. You can still have your fun. The Big 12 isn't dying. It's just becoming what it has always been without teams like Texas - a second rate conference with a small audience.
  16. Toradol wore off and they couldn't give him another dose. But seriously, that has been discussed - the short answer is that only people inside the program know for sure, but it seems likely that his injury was aggravated by playing and it limited him in the second half. Even if that's part of the reason we went so run heavy, I think a bigger part is Sark getting pissed off and calling plays to make a point to the guys. He did the same thing with deep shots in the TCU game last year. Feels punitive. Instead of throwing a tantrum I wish he would just call to win the game and address the player's perceived lack of motivation in practice / film.
  17. I hope everyone who complained about Worthy being a diva appreciates that dive on the ball. He's not thinking about the NFL, protecting his body, protecting his future, he's thinking about winning the damn game. That's not a business decision. I know he has his hand out every off season but dude earns it on the field.
  18. I don't give a shit about your flamewar, please take it to your messages.
  19. We have an 80% chance of making the CCG if we beat ISU but lose to Tech. Approximately. this is a good tool - https://bball.notnothing.net/big12.php?sport=fb
  20. Yep, shaking the play sheet. Dude looked pissed.
  21. Jones just saved us 3 points
