  1. You posted a tweet from this morning yesterday?
  2. TeXaS pLaYs NoBoDy In the top 12, Texas would rank 7th in SOS, closer to Penn State than Oregon is to us. Can the internet and the committee start bitching about Oregon and Notre Dame and Miami and Boise instead?
  3. Ouch. She's had a weird start to her Texas career.
  4. Because all conferences use really weird wording that has two or three meanings. The mega conference scheduling is so fucked without divisions or pods.
  5. Remember how long it took the Big 12 last year to clarify Texas had clinched spot? The B1G just took 2 days to work through all the tiebreakers to announce Oregon had clinched a spot. If it is taking conference officials 2-3 days to figure out their own rules, the rules are stupid AF.
  6. Looking ahead to 2025 - Current roster - 20 Graduating - Skinner, Rutherford, Akana, Wenaas, Franklin Incoming - Krueger, Vander Wal, Gaido, Spears, Harvey I would expect attrition from the group that includes non players/barely played in Helmers/Byrd/Bunton/Tomkinson + the unknowns of Swindle and Devin losing their spots mid-season. Next year's biggest question marks - Setter - does Swindle leave and who is the backup until 2026, when Harris arrives? OH - Skinner and Wenaas are gone; we bring in the top 2 OH prospects in Vander Wal and Spears - does one of them redshirt/backup with Whitney getting a starting OH spot and the winner between the two get the other spot? OPP - does Devin stick around and let Gaido redshirt/back her up for Devin's last year eligibility or does Whitney move to OPP, opening up the floor for both Vander Wal and Spears to start at OH DS - Akana is gone, 2 6-ro players are gone (Skinner/Wenaas). Is Krueger ready to DS full-time as a freshman? What about Ramirez, Binney or Emereck? I am assuming we redshirting Harvey. Perhaps 2025 will be a slightly more experienced version of 2023 Nebraska - Murray was a freshman starting OH (Spears/Vander Wal) paired with a more experienced OH (Batenhorst/Whitney), a very experienced libero (Rodriguez/Halter), a very experienced OPP (Beason/Devin), a freshman DS (Choboy/Krueger(?)), and their MB tandem was quite young (SO Allick and FR Jackson / RS JR Singletary and SO Ames)
  7. Ha, funny enough, I just started watching GOT for the first time starting 2 weeks ago.
  8. We need flairs just for this reason. That’s flair worthy
  9. McConkey if healthy enough to play
  10. I think if you're a borderline top 16 CCG participant (think a #13 LSU or #15 SMU) and you get beat down by 3 TDs, you probably just ended up on the wrong side of the playoff bubble and opened the door for someone else who was maybe #3 in their conference but is ranked in the top 15-20.
  11. I think the CCG runner-ups should make it, assuming they are ranked in the top 16 or so. The CCG is playing for a bye, but the loser should not be punished unless it's 70-3 or 59-0.
  12. In addition to Texas having wins over the unranked teams that beat Bama, Ole Miss and Tennessee, CSU being 7-3 is sneaky good for our resume. We (currently) have played only .500 and above teams in non-conf and the only under-.500 team we've played is MSST Of course, that will change Saturday with Kentucky being 4-6, and how the end of season shakes up for all the 5-5 teams like OU, Florida, ULM, UTSA, Arkansas and Michigan. If a couple of them can finish 7-5, it will add a little more legitimacy to our resume. And of course, ending with a win against 9-3 aggy would help a lot. (bc we will win)
  13. Texas ins 83-41 Not much of a 2nd half to write home about - 53 first half points, 30 second half points. But we only allowed 18 points in the second half, after 23 in the first half. 14 for Holle 11 for Harmon 25 for Booker 9 for Oldacre 7 for Preston
  14. 53-23 Texas at half 20 for Booker 12 for Holle 11 for Harmon
