  1. Did we not have a whole ass thing last year during the finals with Mavs fans trying to gaslight us into believing Luka was a good defender? Lol

    Texas Women's Soccer

I thought it was confirmed she is not returning but maybe she will

    Texas Women's Soccer

We do return Brothers, Chloe Shimkin, Montgomery and Villareal but we are losing a lot - Justus, Missimo, Byars, Jilly Shimkin, Haugen, Ward, Lapomardo, Cox, Miller I hope we are active in the portal - Justus was such a good find. We need another Justus at GK
  4. It should, yes. That's my assumption. Think just 1 episode though, which is rare for Apple, who usually drops 2 for a premier. Season runs Nov 15 - Jan 17
  5. Speaking of ANOTHER Aaliyah - Matharu ended up deciding on Baylor, joining them for the 2025 portion of the season. Which is good for NC, since they just lost Jana Van Gytenbeek, who has played in 59 games for Baylor the last 2 years.
  6. Also the ironic part of calling that the "big lineup" is Booker and Moore are both 6'1 and Phelia, Lee and Holle are all 6'0. So there's no real size difference if you play the 4 guards or Moore. And Carlton is also 6'1 This is a tall roster for Vic and he loves tall guards - Rori and Preston are the shorties at 5'6 and 5'9, and then everyone else is 6'0 or taller. And Crump is a 6'1 guard too. Chavez is 5'10
  7. I think there will be potential flip flopping between Holle and Phelia for a while. Vic raves about Leila and what she can do, but Holle is Miss Dependable. I'm fine with either one. Assuming Booker is back on Sunday, we may see the 4 guard lineup start a game with Booker at the 4, since he wanted to do it last night until Booker was scratched.
  8. This is on my list. And Season 2 of the Night Agent is getting a late January premier.
  9. Oh no doubt. And I think the committee secretly loved it - there was so much drama and speculation and conversation driven by having 5 potential teams for a 4 bid playoff. The SEC was never gonna get left out and, to back up the *kaching,* a competitive Alabama squad was going to drive more ratings compared to a flailing ACC team.
  10. Load management is important for this roster, especially with our not challenging our non-conf is. Outside of ND next month and Maryland in January, this team should be very ready to hit the SEC ground running against OU on Jan 2 Harmon - coming off ACL surgery Booker - not her first time to miss a game due to a hamstring Jones - injury issues Moore - injury issues That's the beauty of this team's depth - Preston can spell Harmon, Oldacre is really doing well inside and if Moore needs rest, Vic is going to experiment with this 4 guard lineup with Booker at the 4 and Carlton is going to push for more PT. Also would love a lineup of Harmon, Lee/Phelia, Holle, Booker, Jones. Get 2 of your best 3 point shooters out there + Harmon/Booker midrange. Should really open up the inside for Jones.
  11. I get it. Tatum is the one in the middle.
  12. Well that and FSU was so banged up and shitty looking to end the year, the committee had to be terrified of a 25-30 point halftime margin between Michigan/FSU or Wash/FSU and all the eyeballs turning it off in the 2nd half. They got two one score semifinals, with one going to OT.
  13. Well Alabama has OU (lol) and Auburn (LMAO) - the odds of them winning out are very high. Tenn has Georgia and Vanderbilt. If Nico isn't playing Saturday, that's likely an L and @ Vandy is no joke (don't we know it).
  14. This country bets on elections. You think “second half spread” is outrageous? Lol
  15. I mean, it's basically what Stewart Mandel said earlier this week. And yes, we are benefiting from the committee ignoring SOR and just looking at record. The committee will do whatever they want, and justify whatever they do, but they are, as usual, giving deferential treatment to preseason rankings, which is why they should not exist until week 5 or 6. BYU: No. 2(!) SOR, No. 6 CFP Indiana: No. 6 SOR, No. 5 CFP Texas: No. 10 SOR, No. 3 CFP Penn State: No. 5 SOR, No. 4 CFP Tennessee: No. 9 SOR, No. 7 CFP Notre Dame: No. 13 SOR, No. 8 CFP Georgia: No, 3(!) SOR, No. 12 CFP Miami: No. 7 SOR, No. 9 CFP
  16. Hey now, the Surly fanbase is also a victim of having to watch this slap and tickle fight between Derka and Motown. For the 80th time
  17. LOL at the national media and CFB fandom acting like Texas invented throwing things on the field after a bad call
  18. Preston - fast as hell, finally a capable backup PG for Rori Lee - three point threat Carlton - not afraid to shoot, has good touch around the rim
