Indiana played an absolute joke of a non-conf schedule - Miami (3-2) and Western Kentucky (0-3)
They were not that competitive against Purdue (1-3), Minnesota (1-3), Wisconsin (0-3), Nebraska (0-3) and Purdue again (1-3)
Seriously. You could probably get 12 Data Science majors from MIT to do a better job using advanced stats, SOR/SOS, etc. and don't watch a single second of football. Don't even give them team names.
And the obvious answer is - stop with the weekly rankings. Just release them at the end. Or you can do a top 12 once a season, like how the NCAA committees do top 16 reveals in basketball.
I must repeat by absolute love of the 2-week semifinals and finals in our league. As I was up against:
Pollard (30.1)
Flowers (20.6)
Aubrey (24.0)
Thank you to Puca (35.7) and Watson (26.9) for keeping me in it after week 1, with AJB still to go tonight
Survived no CMC or Kittle and a fairly average Goff/Nix performance. And I get a week to see if Herbert's hand is okay enough to start him next week.
That is very good news
We have 3 games between Baylor and Missouri - some good tune up games if she's not ready to go by the weekend. December 17, 21, 28
Mizzou is 9-2 and they lost to Troy (and gave up 100 points!)
Hopefully back for the midweek game so she can get her feet under her before Baylor
Also I think Vic knows this is a long season. This team expects to be playing into April. Get healthy for SEC play
