  1. Isn’t it a requirement for hosting? CDC and Elliot must have given a lot to Rec Sports to agree to that
  2. The ability of Harmon, Booker, Lee and when she comes back, Crump, to hit those middies is why I don’t worry about our paint game being as strong as last year with Jones. -10 in points in the paint yesterday, but we hit those mid range pull-ups so well. But we outrebounded a tall, physical SC team
  3. Yeah. We have 5 guards who get significant minutes, but 3 right now. I don’t see Prenter playing much except in blowouts. She’s still adjusting to D1 ball at the American level. Asbrink Hose is redshirting. So everyone available is playing significant minutes. I wish we had used a 14th scholarship on one more guard in the offseason
  4. I know Chip Brown said earlier this week that he expects Preston to be out “a couple of weeks” Judd was a fractured kneecap. 6-8 weeks, so I think she won’t be back until end of December No idea on Crump. That one popped up randomly on Wednesday and was a surprise to me when Thalia Goodman tweeted she’d be out for the UCLA game
  5. Need Preston back then bc this team cannot sustain playing Booker, Harmon and Lee for 40 min per game
  6. If you mean Kitts, she tore her ACL and is out for the year
  7. Vic confirmed in his postgame that Texas is doing this for 4 or 5 years total.
  8. Between Duke and NCST, the ACC has been disappointing. ND looks above average, but not elite. Same with UNC. SEC > B1G > Big 12 > ACC
  9. Players Era results and analysis No. 4 Texas 66, No. 2 South Carolina 64 The SEC schedule has the Longhorns and Gamecocks slated to play only once during the regular season (Jan. 15 in Columbia). So their matchup in Thursday's championship game of the Players Era event was a bonus. And it did not disappoint. Two of the best teams in the country played like it and solidified their status as favorites for No. 1 NCAA tournament seeds. Rori Harmon's pullup jumper with 0.7 seconds left won it for Texas, which is now firmly established as the No. 2 team in the country behind UConn Huskies after beating two top-five teams in Las Vegas (the Longhorns beat No. 3 UCLA Bruins on Wednesday). Madison Booker came alive for the Longhorns in the fourth quarter, scoring 8 of her 16 points, as Texas came back from an 8-point deficit late in the third period. South Carolina, led by Joyce Edwards' 16 points, will now slot in at No. 3 overall in Bracketology, which will be fully updated on Tuesday.
  10. I bet the holiday 1v1 games between Gabriella Jacquez and Jaime Jacquez Jr are super fun
  11. Left arm after it got kind of awkwardly pinned under Booker. Nothing dirty about it
  12. Betts is out against Duke. Did we break her? Lol
  13. If we split it evenly, each player is getting a little over $76k
  14. Each school gets $1 million in NIL funds
  15. Agree. But we will steal a lot of votes from UConn. But Creme may move us to the #1 overall
  16. We still have a shot at another really good non-conference win (UNC) and bank all of those headed into SEC play. Some margin for error for another 1 seed
  17. See them Jan 15
  18. Rori is the closer this year. Sorry Book, give Rori your title for now
  19. I can hear Vic know “that’s some damn Texas fight!”
  20. Texas has a legitimate case for #1 right now.
  21. Texas down 3 players, including 2 guards, and still comes back from 8 down to win the game.
  22. Texas wins!!!
  23. 66-64 Texas. 0.1
