  1. I imagine that didn't go over well on Texags.
  2. Yeah. I thought it was a given that they'd make UGA @ A&M happen in 2024 since it's the most talked about missed matchup from our annoying 12 year rotation. But for some reason, they have Florida attached to A&M and Arkansas. Since the 2012 expansion, the SEC has had 4 "off year" schedules that were not part of the set rotation. Either A&M or Arkansas (or both) were added. 2012 - UF @ A&M (lost @ Ole Miss and Auburn) 2013 - Arky @ UF (lost Ole Miss; would have played @ Arky under old rotation) 2020 - Arky @ UF; UF @ A&M 2024 - UF @ A&M (lost @ Auburn) And of course, through the 10 seasons of the 12 game rotation, we also played both Arky and A&M twice. We will miss out on Auburn again in 2024. The SEC doesn't seem to care about that rivalry.
  3. At least we've got some good home games with Tennessee, Arkansas, and FSU. Maybe we can win 2 of those and make the drive home a bit easier. Last year Utah and South Carolina wins made up for some of those close losses.
  4. Logistically, do they have time to fully clean house before summer practice?
  5. I've always hated the cold and prefer dealing with heat and humidity. I'm the guy wearing long johns when it's 50 out. That said, the last couple of years have been brutal. The heat index is off the charts this summer. I sweat through my clothes in a matter of minutes and it just doesn't evaporate out. I simply can't go out and work in the yard without a break every 15 minutes with a fan and cold washcloths.
  6. Speaking of the baseball coach. Helluva writeup. https://www.insidenu.com/2023/7/11/23790437/former-northwestern-baseball-players-staffers-detail-misconduct-lack-accountability-under-jim-foster
  7. Between this an the baseball coach hiring decision, this is starting to look like others are going to be cut loose at Northwestern.
  8. But it wasn't an internal investigation. They brought in an external independent investigator.
  9. Well, he's got plenty of spare time now to do his own carwash.
  10. Does Footballscoop have some sort of connection to the NW AD? It seems they have the monopoly on former players claiming its all false while the other news sources are finding evidence. Of course, I can't really confirm this since Elon didn't pay his bills.

  12. "Old School" coach probably kept the same traditions going that were there when he was a player and an assistant. Most of the defenders I've seen on the Internet seem to be of the "hazing is a natural part of football, you just don't understand because you're not a real man" line of thinking.
