  1. Btw, most of the Guadalupe River Basin is still in severe drought. Canyon Lake is at all-time lows with no end in sight. Not much latitude between the two basins in case anyone is curious how the future looks as Hadley cells continue to expand north. Just wait until La Niña hits late 2024-26. Remember 2011?
  2. Line falling apart right as it approaches Comal Co. Who would have thought?
  3. Guadalupe River Basin/Canyon Lake watching everywhere flooding in Texas for the last week.
  4. Another day of clouds and humidity with zero rain down here. Maybe tonight? Not holding my breath though.
  5. Strong line building out west. Bow echo looks to hit Austin possibly. Could be some high winds later tonight.
  6. Forcefield has shifted south the last year or so. Strong shields up south of Austin these days. It’s almost fascinating to watch because you know it’s coming- if it weren’t so damn frustrating.
  7. Sorry @NorthLoop I think we got fucked again. I knew as soon as the flood watch went up we had no shot. Very beneficial rainfall in Kendall and Blanco Co- hopefully helps out the lakes some.
  8. Flood watch always the kiss of death with these set ups. It’ll all be east and north of us I'm sure.
  9. Not a chance that line out west holds together overnight. Outflow boundary will kill it off right as it looks promising later on.
  10. It’s never going to rain south of Temple again.
  11. This Scottie Scheffler guy seems like he might be pretty good at golf.
  12. Certainly no rain in my area. I don’t count drizzle.
  13. Rage-inducing watching DFW/NTX get flooded time after time while every promising forecast busts here. Even worse, it’s going to set up east and southeast of us this evening- probably another flood for Houston. Mets of NWS Austin/SA, at some point you gotta admit defeat and realize that forecasting rainfall in our area without sufficient upper air balloon data from eastern Mexico is a total crapshoot. The QPF models are trash until about a day before. Clearly something is going on in the mid levels (prob dry air coming off Mexican highlands) that washes out every system to nothing but clouds and drizzle while areas north and east get bukkake deluxe rainfall.
