I've watched the bloodbath clip a couple times and, like any Trump rhetoric, it's hard to know what he's trying to say. If you parse the words, though, he starts to say it'll be a bloodbath for the auto industry and then interjects that it'll be a bloodbath for the whole country. It's not as ominous as some as the headlines suggest but it's not unreasonable to take as a broader threat. And I think it's consistent with a lot of fears.

I think he starts to say whole and then does say whole, I think it’s pretty much what he was trying to say, if he doesn’t get elected it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the whole country.  Guy is as dumb and hateful as he shows day in and day out. The fact that people vote for him is still the craziest part of all of this.

Trump had full control for 2 full years 2017-2019

    Immigration bills passed = 0
    Borders closed = 0
    Wall money = 0
Illegal immigration soared up to a new record in 2019

Tax cuts for billionaires = 1

Yes but how many instances of civil unrest and culture wars? Checkmate society!

So…no spicy BBQ chips. That’s helpful.

    Cheeee curls?

My work had the stick sweet cheese curls and they were ok. Like a cheese puff with bbq seasoning on top.

Another Doritos flavor. Seems kind of boring.

    Isn’t this just a reboot if a 90s flavor?

Yeah, I like Costco too.  I think it's because I have more "gatherer" than "hunter" in my genetic ancestry or something.  But, I will say that I pretty much hate going to the Costco near my in-laws in Dallas.  It's a huge pain in the ass.  The new Costco in Kyle is a fucking breeze compared to the South Austin one, which in turn is a joyous experience compared to the aforementioned north Dallas location.

I go to Sam's once or twice a year.  They have some good stuff, but much like Walmart, I walk in and immediately want to walk out.  I didn't know about the online pickup option though, that could be cool.

75 north in Plano? That place has a line to get in on a weekday morning it’s so fucking busy all the time.

I could do that, but I'm starting to feel the heat about having procrastinated so long. In my defense, the waiting so far seems to have been beneficial from an inventory and pricing standpoint.

Yeah, I managed to get out of it for four years because of Covid and inventory and surge prices. Her vehicle was starting to get it the point we would have to make decisions on repairs so we finally gave in. The fact that we got 4k on the trade in of a 2010 Nissan murano surprised me as well.

  6. Brat, you didn’t get screwed . You go what you wanted at a price you were willing to pay. That’s what it comes down to.

We looked at 3-4 different vehicles, trims, leg room, etc. Looked at outside financing which as mentioned above is a nice back pocket negotiation (my current truck was UFCU financed not dealer/manufacturer because of that) but went with Hyundais current offer. It’s fucked that some trims qualify and others don’t with some car companies.

Dealerships are still trying to gouge but it’s getting harder to do so. If you don’t need a new vehicle immediately I’d wait 4-6 months for the deals to really start happening. The 2025s are rolling in by then.

Mom's and Dad's just like me? I see nothing on the counters except a bucket of greenery and a tea kettle on the stove. Not buying that fakery.

When we first bought our house before we had kids I wanted a nice fancy tea pot for the stove as it was popular decoration at the time and cool looking on our gas stove. I didn’t end up buying one and now after two kids can’t even figure now where I could store it lol. These people don’t cook at home ever.

  8. Imo don’t even use text, use email. They will text non fucking stop, at least email creates a different time barrier for most.  Bought the wife a new car in January, Hyundai palisade, paid about the lowest possible price for the trim package within 250 miles of us, and had the dealership deliver it from 80 miles away for a small fee. They tried to work some of the same crappy tactics over the phone, but not being face to face made it go way easier/ faster. No sake guy checking with his manger for 30 mins between offers.

I bought my two previous trucks using email to negotiate and still had to spend an hour plus at the dealership wasting time signing paperwork. This latest time for my wife’s car I didn’t have to go anywhere and she had dialed in what she wanted so it was just paperwork after the negotiation that they brought to us.

Here's another way to put it. Israel believes the Jewish Messiah has arrived and they are totally comfortable dragging us into WWIII. That's why Ukraine is happening. Austin could force Musk to let us have a fair and open debate.

I have the evidence that will shut down every sociopath warmonger but I'm shadowbanned everywhere because I'm the wrong kind of Jewish Zionist. I'm the sane non-genocidal kind.
