  1. Jenkins issued the shelter in place order on 3/29, so it seems that the measures are working in Dallas. But, I don’t see a reason to keep levels from going back to 3/28 levels. So are we just going to yo-yo between shelter in place and “give me Lubby’s, or give me death” until a vaccine happens?
  2. I’m able to do it on YouTube version. Bottom right gear icon gives you the playback speed option.
  3. If it looks like it’s heading this direction, does Pence drum up enough cabinet support to have a go at 25th amendment-ing Trump?
  4. For today’s outing, we took our 5 year old to the 4-story parking garage for my office. It has gate access and nobody was there, so it made for a nice scooter racing course. Started at the top level and sped our way to the ground floor. Rode the elevator back up and did it again...and again....and again. Made for a fun hour or so outside, covered (since it’s raining in Dallas), alone, and out of the house.
  5. God knows I’ve spent more and gotten less time and time again. Why stop now? Besides, regardless of politics, it’s time for the Senate to actually debate and vote on issues. Enough of this goally mentality. If my contribution helps to change that, then it’s money well spent. If it doesn’t, I know I did a bit more than sit around bitching and quipping on a football message board.
  6. ...And just made another contribution to McGrath’s campaign.
  7. And the reverse vampires.

  10. I guess you can't always struggle with your demons. Sometimes you just have to cuddle them.
  11. Agreed. I don't like where these comparisons are going...
  12. I heard Urban passed out at 31 flavors.

  15. Not worthy of a haiku.
  16. Frozen 2 with the fam and, god help me, the PITA inlaws at Alamo Drafthouse. The movie was actually pretty fun, but the music wasn't quite as good as the last one. Noteable exception was one amusing 80s music video-inspired song. The PITA in-inlaws, despite loving movies and being warned in advance, got quite bitchty once they realized we were "actually" eating there. Being from LA (San Fernando valley) they have a hard time with any meal that isn't soup and salad or brunch. They also like asking the waiter for their opinion on practically every menu item. So, they were a joy. Frozen 2: 4/5 PITA in-laws: 0/5 Please go home.
  17. Too drunk and annoyed to be sensible...and also wasn't serious.
