  1. Holy shit... they really did it... Those bastards really did it. Now extend Jimbo... you're pot committed anyway.
  2. okay then... someone is going to prison. There's going to be a lot of fed money lost in that bundle. The forensic audit should be very interesting.
  3. You'll need to ask the local tennis coach about that.
  4. meh, we don't want the wheels to completely fall off. They might really bite the bullet and fire him. Jimbo could have a mini bounce back year next season with a new OL coach and some portal luck.
  5. Sark will need a lot of goodwill from our pearl clutching admin to hire Raymond... better win the conference. Also, would Raymond want the job? UF is one of the best DB gigs in the country. I guess it might depend on how he feels about Napier and his future. Their next coach probably tries to retain Raymond though.
  6. Yeah, well, when thinking about Collin Klein makes them sad, I suppose Vince and Colt will just have to cry themselves to sleep with their national championship rings and NFL fortunes. Ricky just has that silly Heisman trophy to keep him warm at night. I honestly don't know how they get through the day with the weight of Collin Klein's accomplishments bearing down on them.
  7. There is someone on the football board who posts a deep dive into the OL performance done by a former coach. He tracks things like run stuffs given up, sacks, penalties etc... The last time I looked, Conner had given up the most negative plays by a good margin. Last year Banks was the best, closely followed by Jones. The other 3 starters were well behind and bunched together. This year, Conner is by himself as the worst, and I think by a good margin which makes sense. Campbell is making huge strides and Majors looks genuinely improved.
  8. awww... saw the thread bump and thought Hamm was back on twitter. I has a sad.
  9. He appears to be the only OL who isn't improving or at least staying the same. He's getting worse. You would expect to see him improving with this much experience ... it's time to move on. How much worse can Neto be? If they're both going to be making a lot of mistakes, at least Neto has huge athletic upside and has a chance to get better. Campbell has improved dramatically with playing time. Maybe Neto will too.
  10. I know he's highly ranked, but is the staff really into McKinley?
  11. 7-5 seems about the sweet spot. Enough improvement, especially sans their starting QB, that there won't be enough willpower to remove him for that kind of money. If their season completely craters and they lose their recruiting class, they might convince a few mega donors to bite the bullet.
  12. $5 million well spent IMO. ROFL OK, so this is basically Burnt Orange:
  13. The guy has a family so I hope he doesn't lose his amazing executive job, but if he did, that would still be funny AF.
  14. Yeah... but... don't you have to play for the team to get a ring?

  16. I think now is when. I thought Joseph was pretty mediocre at aggy. I remember not being happy when he left. Of course, aggy was a bit of a train wreck at the time. I want Gideon to be good, for obvious reasons, but Williams appears to be the only safety worth a shit right now. Catalon was shaped elsewhere, and has his ups and downs. Are there really no better options than Crawford? If there is no one on the bench who can just be assignment sound that's got to be on the coach. If there is someone better and they're not being played, that's also on the coaches. Watts is good, also potentially shaped elsewhere. Barron is great at least. He is a big time self starter\film junkie though. Terrance Brooks appears to be regressing badly. I don't know. It seems like we should have too much talent to be this poor in the defensive backfield, even with some evaluation missteps.
  17. It evens out. I literally saw one of our ends get tackled to the ground... no call. Tons of holding non-calls all night. It might have been the correct call too, although it was probably closer than it was spotted. It will look a little deceptive because his helmet was leaning forwards, but the ball was against his body, therefore further back.
