There is no way Boston can bring him back. He admitted he's lost the team. They need a new coach and to make some personnel changes. They cannot run it back with this grouping.
The Celtics are going to waste the Brown\Tatum window on a rookie head coach that's getting out coached in every series. The Celtics have a stacked roster, but they're soft as fuck. They don't have the tenacity or killer instinct of a championship team. Their execution in crunch time is embarrassing. They need a new head coach.
Hmmmm, could aggy actually pull the NIL deals of players who arrived in the early portal period? Shirley, they wouldn't dare. But... what if they need to reallocate that money for players who can actually start for them?
I get that he has a big following, but how many of them are middle aged women or women in general? From a demographics standpoint, I just don't see Coach getting much out of this. Maybe they're hoping to make inroads with young men, but their product line isn't exactly young man friendly. Is he going to be introducing their new Spring\Summer purse lineup? I guess it doesn't really matter. I just think it's a very odd pairing.
OK, that's just fucking weird... what benefit could Coach possibly get out of an endorsement from a regionally popular football player? Their customers are largely women who have no idea who the fuck Evan Stewart is. Is he supposed to drive sales? It might be different if the company was based in central Texas or something. That just looks like wasted money. Is their CEO an aggy?
They didn't renew? Did their players know they could get dropped from their NIL deals like that? I imagine anyone who can't find a new home, and thus sticks around, is going to be majorly fucking pissed off after getting paid the year before. Imagine having to take a 100% pay cut at your current job, but somehow you still have to go to work at that same job everyday. Not going to be a happy camper.
There's no dominant team this year. I think the championship still runs through Milwaukee for the East, but they're certainly beatable. There's got to be around double digit teams with legit championship potential.
