  1. It's not the pattern he thinks it is.
  2. Flair was the better actor.
  3. NM
  4. It looks like Auburn is trying to find a way out of his buyout. Harsin is not going to cooperate and his side piece will not as well. I wonder if Harsin has to cooperate since he signed a contract before the new policy was put into place. My gut says they can't retroactively put new conditions on his contract without his consent. This looks like an old west stare down over buyout money.
  5. Sterlin Gilbert was fired from Syracuse. He appears to be out of football for now. Drew Mehringer is the TE coach for Oregon now.
  6. I'm not sure Norman has done anything to warrant harm. I think we should all hope he escapes, finds a better home and never has to taste peanut butter again for the rest of his life.
  7. Well, if you think you can convince this community of people that Riley is a hypocritical douchebag, you've got one hell of a tough road in front of you.... /coughs /looks around
  8. It's interesting, but the Bama insiders don't think they can win that recruitment. I guess you can never count out Saban, but they were pretty matter of fact about not being able to win that one.
  9. Offering something official right now is not legal. Telling them what they're hypothetically going to get when they're NIL legal is probably a gray area. If you're coy with your language and word things carefully, you can convey what you have lined up without explicitly saying you already have an NIL deal already in place. We knew Ewers had a million dollar NIL deal before he left for Ohio St. They didn't get in trouble... they were probably very careful about the language they used to convey the offer.
  10. That would be sweet AF.
  11. Hopefully Bijan makes huge money and we can use that as a selling point.
  12. Is Owens a prospect that our boosters could be convinced to go big NIL on? I know we can't offer him anything official until he enrolls, but can't we tell him what deals he'll get after he arrives on campus?
  13. OK... so... which is the lesser of two crazies?
  14. What the fuck did she do to her face?
  15. We need to start tampering with any Auburn players worth a shit that we might need. They can't transfer to an SEC school anymore...
  16. If his weight is trending down, that's a good sign he can take to S&C. I'd be curious if he looks different in opponents or teammates film. Remember when Kendell Jones had great highlights but looked awful in opponents film? I don't know if he's a serious target, so I'm not going to look. But, that will be interesting if he is a priority target.
  17. What did they do about Bama and Georgia doing the same thing, albeit with less money and a little less conspicuously? I think the only thing the SEC will care about is how much higher they set the market rate. They might be reprimanded there, but aggy can always just hide the money from the SEC like they can from everyone else.
  18. Bama and UGA can't do a thing. They've been buying players too, just for less money and they weren't stupid enough to buy so many 5 stars in a single class to draw unwanted attention. If aggy gets tripped up, it will be someone other than those two. I still maintain it should be us with a contingent of private investigators.
  19. Texas joined the conference and they collectively pissed their pants. Still, they got what they wanted. Let's see if they can hold onto it and keep the investors happy if things don't go as planned on the field. I have little hope of them getting busted despite the egregious purchasing of players here.
  20. Satya isn't wrong. Our OT situation is scary. Jones is the incumbent and everyone would love for him to be benched, but we don't have clearly better options. Relying on true freshman is risky, at best. We should have taken a grad transfer or portal OT to set a reasonable floor for the position. We've got talented options, but we don't know if they'll be good options for this season.
  21. I had no idea... I bet a whole bunch of people don't know that.
  22. If our rich boosters don't want to cheat, can they be convinced to finance the investigation necessary to document the cheating of others? If we're not going to join them, it would be helpful if we could stop them. Private investigators don't have to operate with the same rules as law enforcement.
  23. If you ask for white noise, you'll get it.
  24. Yeah, but it is a real offer or one of those Bama "we kind of like you, but you can't actually commit" offers?
