  1. I think Celts win and force game 7.
  2. If that Celtics core wins multiple championships, their trade with Brooklyn could go down as the most lopsided in history. Jason Terry, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce for draft assets that would turn into Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. They would use the third 1st rounder from Brooklyn to trade for Kyrie Irving. That 1st rounder would later turn into Collin Sexton. Ouch... Things would need to go very well to surpass the Joe Barry Carroll for Kevin McHale and Robert Parish debacle. But, it's a young ass core still and they might just win it all this year with Brown and Tatum only being 25 and 24 years old.
  3. I'm sure he did worse on the night. It's strange why he's allowed to do things that are fouls on others. He ain't exactly Michael Jordan.
  4. That needs to be a suspension. That's so much more dangerous than a punch. White could have landed on his face. He could have damaged his face, hands, elbows, collar bone, neck\spine... that's seriously fucked up and super fucking dangerous.
  5. For once, I agree with the aggie.
  6. If the Celtics were healthy, I think they'd make it really close. But Robert Williams is so hobbled he looked to be in pain even jogging up the court. He won't be healthy until the off season. Smart is injured, but playing. I think Golden State's main core is mostly healthy. I have Warriors in 6. Boston wins one in GS, but loses at home to offset.
  7. I love how those idiots are too stupid to realize they're being mocked.
  8. I didn't say those are the only metrics. It's just the glaringly obvious problem with this particular player. But I'm sure there's a long list of high volume shooters who didn't shoot 40% from the field, but were still offensively efficient. I'd love to see that list.
  9. I'm not sure what you're basing that on. His career stats are pretty consistent. His scoring average only goes up when he takes a lot more shots... but his FG% is terrible in all years.
  10. He's never broken 40% FG shooting for his entire fucking career. His stroke isn't bad, he's just inaccurate and people want to make him the starting SG? FFS why? He's just a drain on offensive efficiency and he can't stretch the floor with shooting to create space. If he's your primary SG, teams can just pack the lane and clog everything up.
  11. I actually wish Carr hadn't come back. He's a horrible shooter. He only scores lots of points as a volume shooter and he's really inefficient doing it. He's not particularly physically imposing on either end. I mean... I'd rather Carr go pro or transfer. Keep Morris.
  12. One point of entry also means one point of exit. If anyone gets past the guards at the gate it turns the school into a kill box. Anyone inside remains trapped inside with a psycho. Also, as someone mentioned earlier, a single point of entry creates bottlenecks of people waiting to get in and out. That just means a killer has to time his attack during a mass entry or exit and all the people will just be sitting in a convenient clump of victimhood. It's not logistically possible to harden many schools in this way. Look at Westlake. There's probably over a dozen individual buildings covering probably 6 to 10 football fields of land. For many schools we're talking about huge buildings with tons of windows, doors, roof and maintenance access points etc... Shit ain't realistic even if it was economically feasible for 130k schools, which it isn't.
  13. There are over 130,000 K thru 12 school in this country. Good security personnel will run upwards of 100k per person. How many do you need per school? The cost of training, arming, equipping, plus the usual government bloat... you're talking about hiring a literal army here. Plus as we saw at Parkland and Uvalde, the armed personnel on scene aren't necessarily inclined to die for the kids so...
  14. And despite there being a literal convention hall full of good guys with guns, they're banning guns from the NRA convention. The right will not see the irony.
  15. I can't wait to hear what Abbott's plans are to stop these shootings in the future. I'm sure it's going to be great and not at all similar to doing nothing until people lose interest again.
  16. Well, a small correction. Many places, like Texas, have made it easier to get guns since Sandy Hook. So that's a notable change.
  17. This kid has some good looking film. He's a very physical blocker with plus athleticism... nice looking player.
  18. From the men's bathroom to fired pool boy to millionaire... a totally believable underdog story.
  19. Agreed, he likely can't be a full time EDGE guy. Still, we don't have a single player on the team who can get to the QB that we know of so... he's still pretty fucking valuable to us.
  20. Susan Collins would vote for this, however, the problem is you need 60 votes to pass it, or you need to set aside the filibuster for this specific issue. That's highly unlikely to happen.
