  1. We're in the state of Texas. You can find cases in our state alone where women were denied life saving care. There was a woman who died just before the election. She went to 3 different hospitals, she was bleeding down her legs, her mother was begging, screaming for help. She went septic and died. In Texas. You can google women arrested for miscarriage to find cases where it has happened.
  2. They don't believe he is a grifter... because their propaganda\messaging apparatus runs over everything. Which is why we need to mobilize to get better messaging to the places where people are being indoctrinated... social media, YT, podcasts etc...
  3. Hence, why we have to get our content creators funded and find new charismatic voices to join the fight. We're in the deepest of shit otherwise.
  4. There was a study done this year, I forgot the name. They presented Harris and Trump's policies without telling the people in the study whose policy it was. Conservatives liked Harris policies much more than Trump's when presented anonymously.
  5. Russia dropping 10s of millions of dollars for the content of their choice had nothing to do with it, I'm sure. Tim Poole went from making like $500 a week to $300k a month with Russian money. FFS, we are under literal Russian attack.
  6. You don't have to bring everyone back to reality. You just need to win enough back to win elections, assuming we still have real elections in the future. A lot of people who voted for Trump didn't like him. His favorability was lower than Harris's. People are struggling to survive and they voted because they remember things being cheaper when Trump was in office. That's true, but clearly outside of Biden's control. Trump left office before all Trump's inflationary actions hit home. Now he gets the economy, mostly fixed again. FFS
  7. That's not where the war is being waged. Most media is now conservative owned anyway. Billionaires have been buying them up.
  8. Funding to combat\counter disinformation. It is clear we have lost the information war. We brought a knife to a gun fight and lost. When you look at what Tim Poole, Candaice Owens etc put out, the videos are polished and professional looking. They sound plausible. These creators have a team of editors, researchers, cameramen and writers. They can produce multiple videos a day that look great and sound plausible. They get large pay and support staff. Our content creators have to rely on monetization and have to do all the work themselves. They'll never be able to keep up. PraegerU is brilliant. It's evil, but brilliant. People have short attention spans these days. They create short videos with great graphics that are easy to understand and follow. They promote bullshit, but that's not the point. The format and concept are brilliant. We have lost multiple generations of people, young men in particular, to extremely well funded propaganda. It may be really hard to win them back. The Russian money and conservative money are literally killing our country. Russian propaganda has been frighteningly effective. Conservative people cheer at the mention of Putin or Orban. They've been convinced we're not even a democracy. They have been successfully turned against some of the most important tenets of western democracy. Their misinformation has made it to the halls of Congress. Russia got a president elected twice. My god, that's the most effective propaganda campaign in the history of the world. We need to fund our own counter campaign. We are getting slaughtered in the information wars. If we can't respond to this fast, I fear we will never recover.
  9. I would image unmarried women are statistically more likely to need bodily autonomy.
  10. Their propaganda machine is too effective. Social media makes it too easy to radicalize people.
  11. If he decides he wants to be president for life, who has the power to stop him? You think the GOP will do anything but cheer? He will control the military, barring a coup. SCOTUS? He will have appointed 5 of the judges.
  12. Hopefully he spends even more time golfing this term.
  13. It's not fear mongering. There is a plan to remove all guard rails. Nobody can stop it since SCOTUS pre-approved it. He wants revenge against anyone he feels wronged him. He wants to dismantle the free press, because they criticize him. He will have the power to do it. He's an impulsive, hedonistic narcissist. There is no telling what whim gets him to do something crazy. His DOJ leads did not allow him to pursue the worst of his desires to put his political enemies in jail or to shoot protestors, for example. That won't be a problem for him anymore. We are handing unchecked power to a person with the emotional maturity of a toddler and a severely declining metal state. Shit is crazy.
  14. All of the guardrails that kept him in check in his first term will not be there this time. He is not going to try and hire competent people like last time. He's only going to hire people who will do whatever he says. They have a plan to remove everyone who isn't a loyalist from the government jobs. The Supreme Court has already said they'll rubber stamp any official action. There will be nobody to stop him from doing anything he wants. The GOP will not impeach him. He will be in charge of the military. SCOTUS is in his pocket and he'll get to appoint at least 2 more judges. This term will be completely different. We may be a dictatorship in all but name. So no, just because we survived the first term does not mean we will survive the second.
  15. not making progress fuck
  16. At least there should be some interesting political theater between the Latino republicans and the white nationalists who hate and want to deport them.
  17. How do you even fight a civil war when we're all over the place geographically? Texas is like what, 40% democrat? How would that even work logistically?
  18. Wouldn't be shocked if they talk him out of the across the board tariffs too. That's economic suicide. He wants to be loved.
  19. No PA means no path left, correct?
  20. Walz seems like a great guy. Shapiro helps in PA, but he hurts with all the people upset with the Gaza shit going down. He was risky either way, but PA was probably worth the risk.
  21. WW III happens when he attacks a NATO country, which he will. The problem is Trump will support Russia, but we will be obligated by treaty to support NATO and Trump cannot unilaterally pull us out of NATO anymore. I don't know what happens in that scenario. I believe the GOP can sit on their hands and do nothing legally. I don't think there is any mechanism that can force Trump to support NATO if he chooses to stay on the sidelines or orders us to help Russia.
  22. Big part of it. Hispanics are very religious overall. It's not too hard to translate biblical values to conservative values. Most of my Mexican family loves Trump. A Trump admin with Miller will probably denaturalize tons of latinos and deport them and their children, but, they don't care. They don't think it can happen to them. They've literally spent their entire lives in the US. They think they're safe. Shit, I can't even speak Spanish. Fuck me if they come after us.
  23. He held a press conference. I think he's still premature though.
  24. No, but the path is narrow.
