  1. I thought this was the circle of trust?
  2. I refuse to believe that such a thing is even possible.
  3. Wait, on campus housing closes over the winter break? Has that always been the case? I sure as hell stayed in Dobie over the break.
  4. He needs to not play then. Maybe we can get him back if we get to the championship. He is a net negative out there right now. We need Wingo to step up and catch the ball. He has had the dropsies.
  5. Would be really nice if we can run the ball like we did against A&M and Kentucky. I haven't looked enough at Clemson's front 7 if it is more fast twitch like Georgia or power rushers like A&M. The latter doesn't appear to be a problem for us generally.
  6. Any word on Bond? I have to think having him back in playable form would really help the offense. Right now, he shouldn't be seeing the field. He doesn't run the right routes, doesn't catch, and gets penalized (2 major ones in the redzone against Georgia). I'm hoping whatever is ailing him is getting better over the extended break.
  7. You should check on those prices because you can get tickets right now for $100. You're going to spend more than that on food/beer wherever you're watching the game. But, yes, there are plenty of places to watch. They now actually setup bars with TVs right around the stadium. Or you can check out a tailgate. You shouldn't have difficulty at all.
  8. That's probably the longest distance he has a run in a long time.
  9. Oklahoma and Aggie have good defenses. Kentucky has a lot of defense talent. Arkansas we should have rolled. UTSA is about 4 tiers beneath all of them defensively.
  10. How often did your dad beat you as kid? Apparently it wasn't enough.
  11. What is your point? If you have one, make it. I don't think our offense becomes better with Arch. I think there are some fundamental issues with Sark's offense that aren't getting fixed just by having a different QB. Whether it is reasonable to believe otherwise I guess depends on whether you think it is a Quinn issue as opposed to a Sark issue. He will. But you'll be unhappy with it.
  12. Again, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Quinn isn't the problem with our offense. It is more fundamental.
  13. I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment next season. Arch is going to be good. He'll still have struggles in his first full season. You'll probably ask for our backup at some point with Arch as well.
  14. I think you're misremembering what they looked like against similar competition.
  15. My take: Georgia largely kept playing our short game and ignored the constraints that Sark hit them with. They figured we might hit some explosives, but they would also inflict negative plays and they could stall us in the RedZone.
  16. No. It screams we cant run against Georgia. You don't run stunts because you're trying to stop the run game. You run stunts because you don't respect the gun game (or know when we are running). Georgia knew our run game wouldn't hurt it.
  17. And you're just ignoring the numerous posters he is responding to that are offering a lot more than "the slightest criticism". You're a reasonable poster. Others here are being ridiculous assholes.
  18. Previous game, not final game.
  19. Great, tell the line to block better, receivers to run the correct routes, Bond not to get called for two penalties, and Sark not to call a fucking stupid double fake screen. A lot of things go wrong for us in the redzone. It isn't all on Quinn. He could play better. So could a lot of other people on offense.
  20. No. That's not the point either.
  21. No no no. It was only Quinn.
  22. Maybe. But so do we now. Clutchness is a thing. And Mack's teams had a knack for it.
  23. I mean, come on. Defense holds for barely over a minute, and that is easily a game Quinn made clutch plays to bring us back and win. This ridiculousness of ignoring all the good play Quinn gives us has to stop. A QB can't win a game by himself. Someone else has to step up. Quinn was the best part of our offense against Georgia and y'all are doing nothing but rag on him and excusing the rest of the team. Our failures in close games are a team effort.
