  1. Yuck on that AB. That'll do. 1-1.
  2. They weren't. But they may be the only ones doing it now.
  3. I would try test driving one without AWD. EV motors offer so much more instant torque and so much more granular control that AWD might not be as big of deal as you think. Of course, I'm hypocrite with an AWD EV. But I primarily went that route for the extra range rather than extra power or transaction.
  4. Yeah, any company bringing in a vehicle to be leased in Texas has to pay the taxes on it. To some extent or another that gets passed to the lessee. What I'm not entirely clear on is whether the lessee ends up essentially paying the tax twice if they later purchase the car.
  5. If you purchase the vehicle, yes. If you merely lease the vehicle, no.
  6. What politician and what statement are you referring to? I'm not aware of Biden, or any part of his administration, "cheering against" Tesla while he was President. Some other politician who isn't the current executive of the country criticizing Tesla or Elon would be completely irrelevant to this discussion.
  7. Sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't.
  8. The last administration did not advocate buying a single company's stock. It did advocate for a certain direction for a particular industry (EVs for automotive) and in that context and in the context of passed legislation, highlighted many efforts of prominent American manufacturers, including GM and Ford. It did not specifically invite Tesla to the same event, and perhaps that was politically motivated, but I frankly don't see the exclusion of one market participant from a general promotional event as anywhere in the same universe as promoting the purchase a particular entity's stock. You're making a false equivalence and you know it. I'll also add that promoting consumers to purchase goods from certain companies and promoting them to purchase STOCK is entirely different. The former at least is in the general ballpark of what the Department of Commerce is supposed to be doing. The latter isn't and looks more like a pump and dump effort than anything else.
  9. Well, you can usually buy your vehicle at the end of the lease period. Overall, leasing with the intention to buy will be the most expensive way to purchase the vehicle. That said, the way the tax credit is currently structured does encourage leasing and it is possible that leasing with a buyout (particularly one that lets you buy before the end of the lease) may be more economical. You'll have to ask about the specifics of the lease terms, particularly in regards to the buyout.
  10. This. The Department of Commerce should be promoting general economic development of sector in line with strategic objectives. It should be promoting US companies to foreign investors and businesses. It should not be advocating that the American public buy a particular stock. Surely @52-80 you can see the difference between these actions?
  11. Weird post. These thread is about crypto, not basketball that Texas isn't playing.
  12. Reset Volantis.
  13. You must be way ahead of my stream. Nice play.
  14. Makes no sense. Sure, you got Farmer or Stewart up, but Max?!?!?
  15. Does this guy also throw 97?
  16. The helmet didn't really move. Glove could have just been him closing his hand.
  17. Farmer has hit the ball hard all weekend and not been rewarded a ton for it. And that is the one he gets a hit on. Baseball is awesome and ridiculous.
  18. Getting thrown out on that, hahaha.
