  1. Yes. Risk avoidance is no way to go through life, not for winners anyway.
  2. Fucking finally someone with a little sense. Elite people/teams/programs don't adjust their effort or level of play based on circumstances. That's the thing that separates great/elite from mediocre and good and it's the ONE thing Texas is missing - a culture of never EVER letting up.
  3. BYU Miami Notre Dame Alabama Florida State SMU None of these teams are The University of Texas at Austin Longhorns football. Which is my point. Everyone's looking at all things external, trying to figure out how some other team's actions/results should dictate our outcome. Winners don't give a shit what anyone else is doing. They look internally and control the outcomes they can control. Ohio State, on the road, was a 50-50 game against the reigning champions and we lost. Okay. Georgia is probably the best team in the country and we lost to them on the road in Athens. Okay. The Florida game was a game that we should have won handily, but we came out flat AFTER A BYE WEEK, played like shit, and lost. That outcome was OURS alone to control and we didn't do our job, plain and simple. The Florida game, OUR failure to control the controllable outcome, is why we're not in the CFP. Anybody who doesn't understand that is basically the Steve Sarkisian version of a fan. Augie understood it. Saban understood it. Kirby Smart understands it. Kurt Cignetti damn sure gets it.
  4. The real irony is in the fact that you're unaware of just how ironic your statement is.
  5. The loss to Florida is what's keeping us out of the CFP, not the loss to Ohio State. Step 1 is properly identifying the problem/cause. Many on this board can't seem to do that. This situation is nobody else's fault but our own because we failed to win a game we should have won. Continuing to rely on "help" or "luck" to succeed is a fool's errand. Elite programs do their job and win the games they're supposed to win. They don't step on their own dicks and then beg for mercy.
  6. At least I eat them for the taste. You eat them for the shape.
  7. This sums up some of you clowns quite nicely.
  8. Better double check his work. Q: How many Aggie freshman does it take to change a lightbulb? A: It's a sophomore level course at A&M.
  9. I hope the committee gets it right because in '26 and '27, we have Ohio State and Michigan at home. Then we round out the decade with home/away vs. Notre Dame. I want those games to happen. Meeting them in the playoffs at a neutral site isn't the same.
  10. What did Simmons do after the INT?
  11. We trying to fumble and give the ball back to Aggy?
  12. He was fucking short and then unnecessary roughness with the headbutt. Official are asswater.
  13. FG, then give up an Aggy TD in the last 1:00. It's Sark's script.
  14. Is Arch afraid to pull it and run for 20 yards?
  15. Holding like a MF! Holy shit!
  16. Not good enough. Score again! Again! Again!
  17. Gonna pull it and go off the edge for a big gain.
  18. Sweep our rivals and fuck it up by losing to Florida. That would be classic Sark.
  19. Arch on that TD throw
  20. Mike Elko's Aggy sweatshirt: Grindr
  21. No holding? Officials are asleep.
