  1. Refs won't call a clean game? Fine. Whatever. Booty.
  2. Golden torches a DB who tugs on his jersey the entire route. No call.
  3. Zero points off of turnovers is how we lost to UGA the first time. Good to see us hold them after the INT.
  4. Play to the whistle, Bond. FFS.
  5. Moving on vs. moving on with an extra week of rest is a HUGE difference.
  6. A win and a bye would be nice to give Banks an extra week to recover. The key to this game is Quinn Ewers vs. zone defense. He needs more time than most to read zone defenses; if they can get any sort of pressure, it'll limit his effectiveness. Hopefully Sark has some plays designed to help out with this. And hopefully, as we saw last week against Aggy, Sark has finally realized the need to bring in Arch to add a running QB threat in certain situations. We need to pound the zone read with Arch until they prove they can stop it. (Then fake it and throw a deep ball.)
  7. It's accurate. That's the problem.
  8. Palmer praising Ewers' - a #1, 5-star recruit, and the starting QB at the University of Fucking Texas - abilities as a "game manager"...against the 130th ranked defense in the nation. That sums up where we are.
  9. Our signal caller's hand signals are very Aggy cheerleader-esque. 😀
  10. Quinn Ewers has insane arm talent, but no brain. He can make all-world throws against man defense, but is completely ineffective against zone. Man requires eyes; all you have to do is see. Zone requires a brain, because you have to think/calculate and decide. Man defense: 1. "Where is the WR/TE (singular, present)?" 2. "Where is the defender (singular, present)?" 3. Make the throw or change to a different WR/TE. Zone defense - 1. "Where are the WRs/TEs going to be (plural, future)?" 2. "Where are the defenders and will they still be there (plural, present and future)?" 3. Make a decision. 4. "Oh shit, I can't." 5. Check down.

  12. He may be a good person, so I'll make no comment on his character. But the guy is dumb as shit. He cannot think. His brain won't even flip into fight or flight mode. It just does nothing, like a vehicle idling in neutral.
  13. This is what you get when you have guys driving Porsches and Lambos. A bunch of soft-as-baby shit players and not enough nasty MFers who want to kill people.
  14. Ahem. And just like that, it's a 1-score game.
  15. We're going to jump a route here shortly.
  16. Palmer is a moron. Ewers is not making "quick decisions." Those plays are called precisely because he is unable to make quick decisions. Ewers can only throw against man defense, where all he has to read is the defender's position relative to the WR's. He is unable to read a zone, hasn't once manipulated a seam in his life. He sees zone and it's an automatic checkdown.
  17. We have 97 passing yards against one of the worst pass defenses in the entire country. We have 4-5 elite WRs and an elite TE. And we have 97 yards. Quinn Ewers is the problem, period.
  18. WalMart was sold out of lawnmowers.
  19. Touchback? Nah, grab it at the 1 and run it back to the 10. This kind of shit is going to bite us in the ass eventually. Gonna manifest itself as a muff/defensive recovery in the National Championship game or some shit.
  20. Defense holding Arky to 37yds total offense and we're only up 10-0. This is what "letting them hang around" looks like.
  21. To be fair, all Sark's sideways shit opened up that TD.
  22. Ewers under center? I'll be damned.
  23. Welp, this is classic Ewers. Near INT, bad deep ball to an open WR, then a 3rd down sack.
  24. Ewers already throwing it to LBs. 😀
