  1. This is what bothers me. After the Bama game, I was banking on our run-blocking being the safety net we could always lean on. Gonna need them to play one of their better games of the season this week if we're still without Quinn.
  2. Lol, the random branding of things as "left wing" to make them sound more insidious is so on point for aggy.
  3. I never want to see a true freshman having to start on the OL again unless he's the next Orlando Pace.
  4. As a regular schlub with no extensive football career outside of mostly watching the shit for decades, these are the types of calls that just confuse me from highly paid, accomplished coaches. What do they think is gonna happen there?
  5. But mistakes were made in his first ever collegiate start as a RS freshman! He's a careless, selfish player. No hope for improvement.
  6. Lol.. .
  7. Good lord, step away from the ledge, yall.
  8. Vince's advice was bad from a football perspective, but in the pre-NIL era, I'm pretty sure there were other considerations that a Manning or a Luck has the luxury of not worrying about.
  9. When was the point that this hasn't been the case?
  10. It just feels like an action movie where the large group of baddies wait patiently to attack the lone hero one at a time. It's maddening that we don't force the defense to account for all the racehorses we have.
  11. It does seem like Sark’s offense has been an adjustment for Quinn. However, my biggest frustration with Sark right now is that he is so rigid in what he WANTS to do, that he ignores the things we CAN do. Why aren't we running more empty sets and letting Quinn lean more on his intermediate game while trying to overwhelm teams with our supposedly deep wr talent? Remember Neyor and Cook? Me neither! I get that Sark wants to build a consistent identity, but for whatever reason, we can't run the system he wants at its full potential yet. Why not lean more into the advantages that we do have? Atleast 5 quality wr's and a gunslinger qb.
  12. Sark’s offense isn't what I'd call a bus driver's offense. It's pretty demanding and it requires a high level of play from the QB to be effective.
  13. Do we really need to re-live this shit again?
  14. Yep. His exploits aren't just limited to sports either (no CR).
  15. I don't think anyone called Colt a scrub his first year.
  16. Exactly. I went to Texas during the Colt years, but the rose-tinted glasses some us us look at players from that era with can be fucking ridiculous when evaluating their careers in comparison to our current players. It mostly comes down to what they did as 5th and 6th year seniors vs what our current guys have done at 19 and 20.
  17. The cakes were baked before Herman arrived.
  18. Have not paid attention to BYU at all this year, but are they really that bad?
  19. I'm just hoping the lack of Quinn causes Sarkbto get back to basics a bit and stop needlessly throwing momentum away at times. Let's lean on this oline and let the backs get some momentum. I feel like Baxter, especially, would benefit from getting the ball a bit more often. On paper, we should be better in the trenches than the rest of the teams currently on our schedule. Now secondary is a whole other story. When this staff was hired, I felt like secondary coaching might be a weak link. Three years in, and I haven't seen anything that completely puts those worries to bed.
  20. Has this university as a whole learned nothing from the fucking 2001 Big 12 Championship game!? Fucking negligence!
  21. Let's settle down and expose these fucking yokels!!
  22. I noticed during the dirt burglar game that they were piping in a lot of random, shitty noise as well. I'm assuming this is going on at big boy schools around the country. I can't believe the people in charge of this shit at all these places are this tone deaf. A lot of the crap isn't even ads, so there isn't even any monetary excuse that I can see.
  23. 01 was pretty damn good, as well.
  24. I'm just surprised they didn't try to work in Union or Jenks this year.
