  1. Lol. 2 quick TD drives to start the game and then a big bag of nothing. 18/25. Pedestrian. Rams were begging them to win this game and he refused. Yeah, a 72% completion rate, 240 yards, 2 TDs and no picks is just terrible. Gee, ya think maybe the relative absence of a running game (64 total yards, under 3 ypc, and not a single run over 10 yards) had anything to do with Minnesota losing? Or maybe a defense that gave up 28 points? Darnold certainly wasn't perfect, but he's way down on the list of reasons why the Vikings lost. I suspect you're part of the crowd that predicted before the season that he'd be terrible, and now you've got to backfill and try to "move the goalposts" because he's been pretty solid for the most part.
  2. True story
  3. He's not the reason Minnesota lost, but keep beating that drum. LOL
  4. JFC, these fucking refs are blind or corrupt or both.
  5. That's pretty much what I said to the guy who pointed it out to me. The only way to ease the pain was to spread it around.
  6. Amazon has the Bugout in S30V with "rust orange" scales for about $170.
  7. Bit of a necro-bump here, but only because some asshole pointed out to me today that the start of MTV is closer in time to Pearl Harbor than the present day. Please join me in feeling old.

  9. 2023 Widow Jane Vaults 15YO -- anyone had it? Worth $200?
  10. You never know with Florida.
  11. This. And The Omen And the Helter Skelter TV movie.
  12. This is all true -- and the people who want to rationalize throwing things on the field know it deep down.
  13. My one bottle of Legent was a long time ago, and I'm pretty sure I paid more than you did. I remember thinking that it was pretty good -- not great enough to keep me coming back for more but certainly not a drain pour. And that was at a higher price than you paid, so I'd say you did well.
  14. Gotta catch that
  15. Nah -- as discussed above, apocalyptic sounds better. Fun to see IU administer an absolute beatdown to Nebraska -- a program that routinely used to do the same to the Little Sisters of the Poor back in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Shoe's on the other foot now, corn. How does it feel?
  16. I agree. Maybe Ace's friend is both. That would be the coolest.
  17. He's probably apoplectic, too.
  18. Curt Cignetti. And, yes, some blue blood(s) will be trying to pry him away from IU sooner rather than later.
  19. LOLLOLLOLLOL
  20. Cleveland, you're disappointing me. I thought I warned you about that.
  21. Here's a direct quote from that Williams interview: "We just beat ourselves but I give respect and everything to that team in Austin." Doesn't sound to me like he's giving "respect" to Texas when he claims that a 34-3 beatdown (which could/should have been far worse) was because the Sooners "beat ourselves." Screw him. He and Bowman (and any other BlowU player or fan who thinks Oklahoma just "gave the game away") can all kiss my ass.
  22. Yeah, Wingo got a piece of a couple OU defenders on that play. The entire WR corps blocked very well in that game.
  23. Read elsewhere that the season-ending injury was to his knee. EDIT: Should have finished reading the thread -- someone else already passed along the same info.
  24. My understanding is that Roberson has been working mostly, if not exclusively, at corner. With Williams out, my guess is that safety will primarily be a three-player rotation between Taafe, Mukuba, and McDonald. However, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Johnson-Rubell gets into that mix as well. I think those are your four main players at safety now that Williams is hurt.
