  1. Hope you're right. Don't trust the Committee as much as you.
  2. Texas FSU Bama One of these teams is about to get fucked over.
  3. Plummer is absolute dog shit
  4. Fuck you, lame-ass Louisville
  5. Fuck you, lame-ass Louisville
  6. My God this kid is terrible
  7. Surprised Saban didn't lobby more
  8. Me either.
  9. Can't we just have the meteor first?
  10. Unfortunate for that young man (and hope he's not injured too bad), but that is a very good development for the Texas CFP hopes.
  11. Hope you had him drinking Old Crow while you and the others enjoyed the good stuff.
  12. Way to butcher Sark's name, you numbnut.
  13. Shut the fuck up, you sec shouting motherfuckers.
  14. Good news about Worthy. Really happy to hear that.
  15. Defense didn't look like they wanted to play too bad on that drive. I know the game is a blowout, but there was some uninspiring efforts by various Texas players on that drive.
  16. Damn. Hope Worthy heals up fast.
  17. Don't really think so. If Oregon and Texas both win, they would both be one-loss conference champions. But Oregon's loss is to a top-5 team (Washington), whereas Texas lost to a lower-ranked BlowU squad. IOW, Oregon has the "better loss." Also, Oregon is currently ranked ahead of Texas. Can't really see the Committee leapfrogging Texas over Oregon under the circumstances if they both win.
  18. Ironically, I learned about his death via a Facebook post by Marshall Crenshaw, who was part of the same NYC scene in the late 70's and early 80's. I'll have to check out DA's post.
  19. Just learned that Scott Kempner died yesterday. If the name isn't familiar, google The Dictators and/or The Del Lords. Kempner a/k/a Top Ten was part of some really good music -- proto-punk and humorous straight-ahead rock in the Dictators and rootsier stuff in the Del Lords. Between his death and that of Shane MacGowan of the Pogues, it's a sad day for edgy, honest, rock and roll (both Celtic- and NYC-influenced). Guess I'll be listening to Go Girl Crazy! in addition to Rum, Sodomy & the Lash tonight . . .
  20. Unsurprising news, sadly. He inflicted so much damage on his liver. Was a perfect front man for the Pogues, a great band. I'll probably spin Rum, Sodomy & the Lash tonight (or maybe If I Should Fall From Grace, or both) and toast him with some whiskey.
  21. Interesting that Sweat gets D-player of the year, but it's Murphy who gets D-lineman of the year.
  22. Any idea how old?
