  1. Bill's reference to EW 1783 makes sense, though 1783 isn't as smooth as the SiB. Regular ol' Elijah Craig would be around the same price and comparable, IMO. The answer a few years ago would have been McKenna BiB (same mash bill, bottled at a higher proof), but not anymore.
  2. At the risk of threadjacking what is supposed to be a Santa Fe thread, I'm curious to know why you both think ABQ sucks. I've never really spent time there -- flown in and out in connection with skiing at Taos -- but I've been intrigued by the mix of attributes that MD mentioned. I know crime (esp. property crime) is an issue, and some people thinking of retiring there are turned off by what sounds like a generally bad healthcare scene. What else about ABQ is a drag?
  3. Alfred Collins made some plays as well. Sorrell had some pressures. It was a mixed bag for the D-line. But as a unit, they've played far better in other games.
  4. He was held on some plays. But I saw plenty of other plays where he was a non-factor without being held. And I feel bad for calling him out because I actually like the kid and think he's going to be a really good player down the road, but he and Ford in particular did not play up to their prior levels against BlowU. I see from another post that Burke may be dealing with a knee sprain, which could help explain his ineffectiveness in that game. If he's hurt and his injury is essentially rendering him ineffective, then the coaching staff bears blame for leaving him out there.
  5. Burke was next to useless in that game.
  6. Great story. Good for him, indeed.
  7. That was my first thought. Which one of you magnificent bastards is it?
  8. Oh, a Tennessee win would certainly be delicious. And that's the way I'm leaning simply because I can't really find it in me to root for the gomers. But I also have visions of Ags getting a glimmer of hope only to see it all dashed into a thousand pieces like a jizz jar being dropped on concrete when the rollercoaster flies off the tracks against the likes of South Carolina or one (or both) of the Mississippi schools. Like I said -- it's a no lose situation for us.
  9. Yep. According to one aggy poster in one of those screenshots, that's the most talented team Alabama has ever had. And he wasn't being sarcastic/facetious. The Tennessee game is a guaranteed "no lose" for us, fellow Surlyites. Either Tennessee mudholes aggy and the "Fire Jimbo" chants reach a fever pitch, or A&M somehow manages to pull the upset, which puts the rollercoaster right back on the tracks and sets aggy up for major disappointment down the road. Frankly, I'm having a hard time deciding which one I would rather see.
  10. Sean Payton gets a heaping plate of crow.
  11. Fuck you refs
  12. JFC, clear fucking facemask/hands to face on that replay of the 4th down play. Don't know how you miss that
  13. F u refs. Obvious hands to face by the KC rusher on that 4th down play
  14. JFC, Mattison
  15. Hockessin, you've been a big disappointment today (except for KC)
  16. RT for KC moving early on damn near every pass play
  17. Just fucking dumb to challenge that
  18. O'Connell, you are wasting a challenge & burning your second timeout. Stupid.
  19. JFC, Bynum. Keep running and time your fucking jump better and you have a pick.
  20. Agree. Looked like his left toe was raised up off the turf by the time he actually caught the ball, and it didn't come back down until he was out of bounds. Chefs get a 3-point gift from the refs.
  21. We were down 4
  22. WVU won't win out
  23. Now we need to win out and hope we get those motherfuckers in the Big 12 CG. I guarantee we will stomp them notwithstanding the refs
