  1. So the guy who goes to mass every day, went through hell with his son being an addict, buried his children yet was able to carry on, overcame stuttering and in 100 years of public life has never even had even a hint of impropriety, is a criminal, and the guy who has screwed people over for decades, cheated on his wife, has a history of saying racist things, encouraged an insurrection, talked about grabbing women by the pussy, stole classified documents and has told more lies than truths, is pure as the driven snow. Makes sense.
  2. I know exactly what is on his resume and see it as the guy has forgotten more about basketball than most people know. I did visit with him a couple of times and also spoke with the parents of some players who held him in high regard. My opinion is just reflective of those conversations and observing the staff in game. Wasn’t suggesting that we were going to suck because he wasn’t there. Just that he was not some scrub who could easily be replaced. I heard from several people close to the program that his international experience was a positive. Haith may be just great. Don’t know anything about him other than it seems he used to be the bagman at a couple of stops. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Time will tell. I’m fairly optimistic about next year if this team can develop the on and off court chemistry displayed last year. The team is living together again in the same place so I’m hopeful.
  3. I can’t take anyone seriously who can’t recognize that he had a hand in our success last year and was part of the positive development of several players.

The beginning of the article read as follows: Advertisement: We found no evidence that Brooks had recently performed at a "Texas Country Jamboree in Hambriston" — or even that a "Texas Country Jamboree" or a city called Hambriston, Texas even exist. The week the Dunning-Kruger Times article was published, Brooks was performing at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. We previously fact-checked a similar satirical claim that originated with the same source, namely that the grand opening of Brooks' bar had to be canceled due to his refusal to participate in a boycott of Bud Light by conservatives over a marketing promotion that featured a transgender celebrity. For background, here is why we sometimes write about satire/humor. Dunning Krueger Times is the best part of the whole thing. What is the Dunning-Kruger Effect? The Dunning-Kruger effect effect occurs when a person’s lack of knowledge and skills in a certain area cause them to overestimate their own competence.
  5. For what it’s worth, I read that this facility houses a couple of tactical nukes.
  6. Built

  8. I think that’s the Confederate monument in Orange.
  9. Can’t wait to see him in this:
  10. Boomers on whole will go down as one of the worst generations. The greatest generation had the worst kids. Gen X really got screwed by the boomers.
  11. And apparently he never dated a Kardashian.
  12. I wonder if this indictment is a breach of any of his loan agreements.
  13. I noticed several times last year that he passed up open shots in favor of passing to someone else. It was like he wasn’t even thinking of shooting.
  14. I think he will be held accountable but death will prevent him from serving one day in jail. He will go four corners and stretch all the legal proceedings out and never serve a day because he’s dead or loses his mind like his father.
  15. Interesting that within the large $ donor class there are people with the opinion that he has suffered from Cuba Gooding Jr syndrome since he got the job. I know why they think it but not really sure it’s a valid opinion.
  16. I love red hat on red hat crime.
  17. Obviously you haven’t been there in a while.
  18. He liked a tweet suggesting RT should be fired and he liked the tweet where Holland was recommitting. I’m not making any judgements but it is what it is.
  19. For some reason I think it’s more about self preservation. Like something is coming related to Paxton and they did not want to be seen as paying his settlement and risk looking like they were helping cover it up as opposed to draining the swamp.
  20. Yes but aren’t pastors replacing school guidance counselors sitting on Dead Legs desk waiting to be signed?
  21. It would have been subject to the 60 but most of the reading I’ve done suggests it could have been done through reconciliation thus solving that problem.
  22. Never been a fan may not be “I’ve never voted for him”.
  23. What infuriates me about the democrats is that they can be so stupid sometimes. They should have raised the debt ceiling during the lame duck session and told the Freedom Caucus to go fuck themselves. Republicans are terrible but my team get run over by them constantly.
  24. I know a guy who retired there. Everything was really cheap. Bought him a golf cart and drives from bar to bar each day. Says he only spends about $2000 per month.
