  1. Literally there is no redeeming value to Buc-ee’s except clean restrooms. Overpriced crap made in China, low quality food, and every possible snack that will make you fat or give you the diabetes.
  2. I don't stop there sort of because they are aggies, kind of because I don't agree with their politics, but mostly because I can't stand dealing with the white trash doing their grocery shopping.
  3. I actually think that Jimbo will luck into a championship by virtue of taken accumulation. Aggies whole identity is wrapped up in being the best at something. Whether it be football or an online pole. It is imbedded into their psyche that they are a disrespected people and that any moment they will rise to their deserved place as a national power. I have no doubt that they are willing as a fanbase to spend whatever they have to in order to be a "winner". It would not surprise me if they continue to spend in amounts that would embarrass us in comparison. It just means more to them.

No, but if we had won like Alabama, there would have been year round football coverage and probably some really interesting content.

I would have liked to see what it would have looked at if we had not sucked so bad in football. To me, that was its kiss of death.
  6. If you have a good old school system, put this whole album on. Now, I like weed so, but this is the greatest album of all time
  7. I don't know jack shit about the technical aspects of football. So here are just a couple of things I noticed: I stood just to the right of the goal post in the field level club at the very front. At field level, looking at both QB's from behind, it seemed Card would have a much better view of the field that Ewers. Past that, the perspective wasn't too good for watching the game. That Banks kid that we have coming is huge. He stood in front of me and I was shocked at his size for a high school kid. On the hoof, when the players came into and out of the locker room and walked within feet of me, they looked bigger on whole than they have looked to me the past couple of years. Neyor physically just looks like a NFL receiver. I will be pulling for Murphy tp develop his talents because he is an imposing sized guy. There were a ton of former players there who all seemed really familiar with all the players and appeared to be excited to be there.

    Getting old sucks

Seems like the day I turned 40 shit started not working right.
  9. Lumber Company in Silsbee had AYCE BBQ crabs.
  10. The run off from the Lone Star plant. My grandfather used it to kill Boll Weevils.
  11. I can confirm this as well.
  12. Well, we did lose but I have not been to a game since that was as exciting start to finish. Nor have I seen an Erwin Center crowd on their feet from start to finish.
  13. Greates basketball game played in FEC.
  14. When you need to escape your roommate at 2:30 in the morning, yes.
  15. Roof deck, indoor swimming pool, study room, cafeteria, washing machine room and parking garage. 1986 was glorious. Its been all downhill since.
  16. Litigated for 16 years. Some of that with a national plaintiffs firm. Tried cases all over the country and made really good money. Had young children and realized I was missing out on quite a bit. Went in house as general counsel for a company who was large and successful but had never had a GC prior to me. Some things I have learned: Businessmen look at lawyers as an expense and as the people who will always tell them "no". Your new employer will not appreciate you as much as your individual clients may have. Welcome to the world of being a "necessary evil". If you currently get a lot of juice from your current job, going in house will make you feel like you are wasting your life for less money. If you really don't care about getting something out of your job and you value your free time, I say go for it. If not, think twice.
  17. That is at least how I recognized who it was. Plus that terrible hair gel thingy.
  18. The Filling Station was where I first got drunk as a 10th grader when my parents sent me to visit my cousin to see what college was like.
  19. Nothing takes me back to the 1980's more than going in a Luby's. In the 70's and early 80's there was not a restaurant on every corner and Luby's was my parents go to. Probably twice a week. Amazing that the food has not changed at all which probably explains why they had financial trouble. Was always partial to the fried chicken, square fish, turkey and dressing, enchiladas. fried okra, pinto beans, black-eyed peas, that strawberry shortcake thingy that always looked better than it tasted, cherry pie and an overcooked crispy on the outside brick of jalapeño cornbread. The still have the lady pushing the cart around refilling drinks? Don't know why but I would always ask for a wet napkin as a kid.
  20. In the early to mid 80's you automatically got in with an 1100 on the SAT. Parents made me take it in the 10th grade. Made 1100 on the dot. I don't remember doing much high school homework after that.
  21. Bo Davis would have a word with you.
  22. They do and always will. Little brother is in their DNA.
  23. Their whole identity is based in little brother syndrome and as such, there is no amount they won't pay to elevate to the heights their delusions tell them that they should be.
  24. Why? I am sure we could easily identify 10 players who should be cut loose.
