  1. I'm a little ashamed to admit that I did not know Joe's middle name was Robinette until now. That's almost as bad as Hussein.
  2. I dunno man, before Tuesday, I would have thought they largely hated him, but after seeing what we've seen, I wouldn't be surprised if officers lean trump and enlisted are waaaaay trump.
  3. I've been following the odds on betonline.ag. Lines were off overnight and came back up around 6a Pacific. PA moved from -170 dem to -200 dem. For those of you who are not degenerate gamblers, this means that this morning you had to bet $170 to win $100 on the dems to win PA, but now you gotta bet $200 to win $100. Other lines I've been following: FL pubs went from -175 to -190 but that was 3 hours or more ago. AZ dems moved from -120 to -125. MI dems moved from -285 to -350. TX is -400 pubs, +300 dems.
  4. One time they called me when I was in my car stuck in traffic so I answered all of their questions. Otherwise, it's an immediate "no thanks" and hang up.
  5. No, he sent someone out to pick it up, then refused to reimburse them.
  6. I know, right? The lead singer for YMCA is a gay Black man, and the rest of the band is largely, if not entirely, gay, not to mention a couple minorities sprinkled in here and there. People who champion that kind of diversity are not the folks I want to be aligned with.
  7. Any idea what happened to ALPP today? I was stuck in meetings all day, when I looked in the am it was about .072 and it closed at .057.
  8. I could be wrong, I was a really little kid when this show was on, but I'm pretty sure Archie Bunker hated FDR for this very reason.
  9. If they weren’t so good at building ships the yards would still be open on the Clyde.
  10. If it wasn't 8-1 Bellinger makes that catch.
  11. csb - back when I worked for an IBM business partner, there was an IBM'er that everyone said was gonna be the next CEO of IBM. Young guy but not too young, looks good in a suit (NTTAWWT), tall, well spoken, typically gregarious. Sales guy of course. We're at a company golf outing and he's there and I see that he has Longhorn headcovers. So of course, I go over, tell him I'm a Longhorn too, ask him when he was there, if he'd been back to Austin lately, all that stuff you do when you see a fellow Horn. He basically gives me the silent treatment, mumbles a couple of responses. I think, whatever dick, you think you're better than me, piss off. FF a couple weeks he comes across my LinkedIn feed and his degree is from UT-D.
  12. Just a hunch, but I think there's a reason why it's the way it is.
  13. Agree on UMC. Church of Christ seems low at 50 tho, so maybe that balances out.
  14. They did it again. Does someone need to hit a trashcan to let Gurriel know that it's coming in low?
  15. I dunno, Chief of Staff is a pretty crappy job, at least traditionally, regardless of who is President. That's why most of them don't last more than a couple years. You gotta make sure all the bs the boss spouts gets done and usually don't get a lot of visibility. Hard to say where he'd be a fit. OMB maybe, technically not a cabinet post...well, neither is CoS. VA maybe but that's a crappier job than CoS. UN Ambassador?, again technically not cabinet.
  16. The ump doesn't know if he called a ball or strike?
  17. I really wanted her to say "there's a fly on your head" in the same tone as the woman from NYU tells Kramer "your fly is open."
  18. A class at UT was harder than a class at OU? NO WAI!!! I too thought it would be an interesting, near blowoff class. Mine was in RLM too as I recall. Dropped it after day 1.
