  1. You mean that dog can read?
  2. Sideshow Bert?
  3. Ok, but are the 4s in Austin also at the Carl's Jr.?
  4. Hey Quinn - if Tech tells you that you'll be rolling in tortillas if you go there, understand that tortillas is not some slang/code for money. You're welcome.
  5. This. And besides - has Aggy even filmed his video yet?
  6. A hand in the bush is worth it.
  7. Our luck we'll get the albino dude instead.
  8. I don't know - I think we can do both. Can RoJo still throw? I'd look at turning him back into a QB and using him like we did Sam last year. He seems to be running well and isn't afraid to take hits. He doesn't have Sam's size but we would have whichever QB (Card/Thompson) that doesn't portal as a backup. Give him 1 meaningless game and evaluate him. Disclaimer - I haven't followed recruiting so I don't know if any QBs are incoming.
  9. If it went to a coin flip we would do better than under Charlie.
  10. that one pic looks like they are wearing the dog bite suits. The hand signal pic should be captioned: Our boobs are this big.
  11. Those same people won't be buying (or even wearing) new Texas gear either. And yeah - if enough people stay away for more than one game *then* it will make a difference. Less visibility on TV - like not on ESPN or Fox but ESPN3/U or FS2. Probably hurts recruiting more than it will already be, and of course "out of sight, out of mind". Remember when Texas was eligible for a bowl but not a good one there was always talk about how great Texas travels. Seemed like it usually helped get a better matchup or a higher game that the team should've been invited to. Throw that one out as well if fans start jumping ship. It won't help for one game but it has to start somewhere.
  12. Like they will be here next season anyway...
  13. How can you even take that article seriously when the second paragraph says this: "Texas is currently amidst a three-game losing streak and Sarkisian’s first year at the helm has been a dumpster fire thus far." 3 game losing streak? Try 6. The article says it was published yesterday - even 5 might've been correct but 3? I call complete BS.
  14. OH so thaats what they meant. I always assumed it was mounting Mama.

    CDC letter

At least switch it to "We're UT". It will confuse the SEC.
  16. All true. Maybe I'm just a fool but I think if I had the millions he already got, and a steady job as an OC (Texas will pay well for a winning OC) I would probably go that route rather than risk falling back into old habits and becoming a full-fledged alcoholic again. He also probably can't sue for the same thing again if Texas had even average lawyers draw up his contract. If he is honest about wanting to stay sober I think it would be way easier without the pressure he is likely to be under going forward. He is also more likely to see good results directly attributable to him as an OC, which should make him feel better about himself and keep him off the wagon. I don't know - maybe is has zero struggles with alcohol anymore, but I doubt it. From what I've heard alcoholics struggle for a long time to stay sober. In his case it probably depends on which desire is stronger - keep bringing in more money than he will likely ever use, or stay off the juice, have enough money to do whatever he wants, put kids in the NFL, and actually make a difference.
  17. What if the BMDs start looking in the background to try again to money-whip a Saban or an Urban or someone close to the same level, just keep Sark while they try, and once they finally get one we fire Sark at that point? He's not going to get better. I mean - by the time the BMDs find someone that can actually coach, Sark could probably be fired for cause. Or Sark resigns to keep from falling back on the juice. No way he lasts long enough to turn the program around with the massive pressure he will be getting starting today (and especially after 2 more losses and no bowl game this year). Honestly if I were Sark I would make a deal with Texas that I would give up head coach if they made me OC, and I would take the pay cut (with bonus options depending on the offensive stats). That would please almost everyone, and keep Sark employed, not taking millions from UT, and likely stay sober without all the pressure. He does seem to be good on offense and could be really good if someone would rent an offensive line. Downside is - new head coach would have to agree.
  18. I 'member that. Sad part is - it works for so many other games as well.
  19. No. That's a gimmick. Take the helmets off the players. Open tryouts. Bring on a couple of walk-ons, start freshmen and whoever is on the scout team. Rest Bijan and Overshown (if they aren't already forced to rest after today). Hell - start some math majors - they will at least have better angles. Then either raid the portal or start looking for another coach. At this point 50-50 odds of this mess being the players or the coach are better than the win-loss record anyway. Flip a coin and act.
  20. Odd stat - isn't Case McCoy the last Longhorn QB to beat both ATM and OU?
  21. ^ This. I still think this is the path. OU made the right decision (for them at least) to take out Spencer. Otherwise we win, and they have 4 turnovers not counting any ref crap. Right after our 1st TD I told my wife Rattler was good for 2-4 turnovers, and there would be 35 points in the 1st quarter alone. Had no idea 28 of them would be for us. Sad part is I also told her after Rattler was pulled for the freshman that if he came back in he would make even more mistakes trying too hard to keep his job. He did not take that benching well at all. Plus, we had the misfortune of having to face the freshman first. First *real* game action so no college film, and didn't play HS last year due to covid stuff so no real recent film on him at all. If we win out and face OU again we won't be facing an unknown.
  22. What was with Saban not calling a time out when there were 14 seconds on the clock? Instead he let the clock run down to 2 secs - walk-off field goal. Had he called time out he would've either forced aggie to run another play (can't remember what down it was), or they kick the FG, then have to kickoff, and bama either has a chance at a return or they have 9-10 secs left and one timeout. Seemed like a huge error to me - at least coming from Saban.
  23. Wait - wouldn't it be a whore-mobile-home?
  24. I think the ultimate would be us beating OU, both teams win out, and face off again in the Big-12 Championship (hopefully our last year in the 12). We beat them twice and move on. Big-12 would go apeshit with UT/OU in the championship, and even more when we both leave this year.
