  1. I mean there is no way Nico breaks that, if Tunsil wasn’t out on the defender…. So, yeah, if he doesn’t get out there it’s probably an 8-10 yard gain and not TD. Thats why they called the penalty.
  2. This is a crazy take. The only passes Beck was completing consistently were hitting his TE on seem routes up the middle, which for some unknow reason Ten refused to cover/help on. QE's arm is elite. The throw to Wingo that people in this thread are bashing him on.... was a arguably the hardest throw an NFL QB can make (opposite hash 20-25 yard downfield out), and he was just slightly late with that ball. Are there times when he needs to put more juice on the ball, for sure. But to act like he can't, just because he can routinely make throws that other guys have to put there whole body into is a wild take. I would argue that a partially source for a lot of angst against Quinn. His arm is elite enough for him to make "good enough" or close to good enough throws without proper footwork and mechanics.
  3. I mean we generally score if we don’t fuck ourselves with a massive negative play or a critical penalty. If we just don’t fuck up, we score most of the time.
  4. Our receivers, other than Wingo, are not conducive to that. Last year those ball went to Mitchell, a tall athletic senior. We don’t have that guy this year.
  5. I mean it was a perfect throw, but we don’t talk about that because it wasn’t “sexy.”
  6. The boxes are not loaded. We constantly have run “friendly” boxes and cannot punish teams consistently.
  7. The box isn’t loaded guys. That’s the whole point. Nobody has to to do that because we can run consistently.
  8. If we can run the ball the offense hums. If we can’t, it struggles. The run game is inconsistent due to the RB situation. Kinda sounds like the difference between almost very good and great offense.
  9. Did you just make a Spurrier Florida reference? 25+ year old references is what we are going with now
  10. lol… that is what we do. Which is half of what this thread bitches about. All those short passes are “runs.” The inability to line up and run inside and getting safeties and linebackers to lay downhill does limit the passing game significantly
  11. Yeah, I mean it clearly was the reffing style. There were at least two pickups.
  12. I think we protected ok today. Some of those sacks were on a Quinn for sure. The lack of run game is frustrating. I am putting that 60/40 on the backs vs the OL. The inability to pick up 3-4 yards consistently, inside the tackles, severely limits the offense.
  13. I mean Arch might be one, which is probably why Tex91 thinks we should unless him.
  14. Says the motherfucker who believes unequivocally in aliens and a vast government conspiracy to keep us from knowing the truth
  15. Listen, I’m drinking beers and watching other games. I’ll try to rewatch tomorrow once things are on YouTube and I’m not drinking beer.
  16. Tennessee also lot to this team. The transitive property in football doesn’t work. Helm had more than one drop. The sideline throw to Golden would have to have been a perfect throw. It was a miss but it wasn’t egregious. The Wingo throw also wasn’t perfect but holy shit the is an opposite hash out route near the sideline. That is a high difficulty NFL throw. People don’t think he is perfect but the standard you motherfuckers have is so skewed it is wild.
  17. Y’all are fucking high. There were multiple drops. Helm had one for sure crossing the middle. I believe Bolden had one and I will go back tomorrow and watch but there were others. There were bad throws and self sacks, but we consistently make negative run plays worse than they need to be and I don’t think anyone in the WR room would say they played a great game today.
  18. I mean there were at least three critical drops. Some would have been “good” catches but nonetheless they hit the receivers in both hands. The sideline miss to Helm was trash, as was the self sack on Williams foot, but there wasn’t mush help out there, until Q4. I feel like we should zone read or run Quinn early in every game. I feel like he always plays much better after running for a few.
  19. What are the two “wide open” deep balls that were missed? What about the multiple drops that killed drives? The worst throw was the wide open miss to Helm on the sideline.
  20. Umm there were multiple drops that killed drives.
  21. I mean its pretty simple... our top two WRs are out/have been out and our interior OL is the worst in the league (maybe slightly better without the aggie). Stroud is getting pressured so much, and often from the inside (the worst kind) he has become "gun shy." When he has time, many of the receivers can't create separation, so he is throwing low percentage passes or eating sacks. All of that adds up, and equates to him missing some of the opportunities that he should hit (sometimes soul crushingly bad - like last night) The interior OL can't pass block or run block (which mitigates some use of our current best offensive player in Mixon) and we have a #3 WR trying to be a #1 and a bunch of JAGs. When Nico returns he will help all facets as he is an actual playmaker at WR, which will equate to more opportunities in the run game, which should help the protection.... and so on. Green should have been replaced much sooner in the season, and we got hit by bad luck with Diggs and Nico going down.
  22. The dude slightly slowed down and dropped it 100% through his hands with zero interference. Was a perfect throw? No, was a solid enough throw for a 50 yard gain and maybe a touchdown, yes. The drop is 80-100% on Moore.
