  1. Idiot - why don't you read?
  2. If you are a talented team, which I think it’s safe to assume every team in the playoffs feels they are, then you would press/pressure every young inexperienced QB that comes into a game, until they prove multiple times that you shouldn’t. It’s not about inability, it’s about speeding up the decision making process and putting hits on a young player who hasn’t experienced a lot of that. Less talented teams may have a different approach.
  3. Yes. 100% they (they being a team in the playoff) would do this until he shows he can beat it with any consistency against a real team.
  4. If they were fortunate to make it in, it also wouldn’t surprise me to see them lose to a “lesser” team early, like they did multiple times this season. At some point you are what you are team/record wise, and they got beat by several not “great” teams this year.
  5. Georgia's DL does that horizontal shift all the time. It seems like they get the offense to commit 1/2 false starts a game with that maneuver.
  6. I mean its fun to talk about, but lets not act like being 13 in the rankings is equivalent to being 3 in the old BCS or 5 in most recent version. Nobody will be taking about grave injustices as soon as the games start being played.
  7. 31 - 17 Horns 36 carries for 201 yards rushing
  8. How about no PI calls? i mean, what’s the deal with that? /Seinfeld
  9. I mean there is no way Nico breaks that, if Tunsil wasn’t out on the defender…. So, yeah, if he doesn’t get out there it’s probably an 8-10 yard gain and not TD. Thats why they called the penalty.
  10. This is a crazy take. The only passes Beck was completing consistently were hitting his TE on seem routes up the middle, which for some unknow reason Ten refused to cover/help on. QE's arm is elite. The throw to Wingo that people in this thread are bashing him on.... was a arguably the hardest throw an NFL QB can make (opposite hash 20-25 yard downfield out), and he was just slightly late with that ball. Are there times when he needs to put more juice on the ball, for sure. But to act like he can't, just because he can routinely make throws that other guys have to put there whole body into is a wild take. I would argue that a partially source for a lot of angst against Quinn. His arm is elite enough for him to make "good enough" or close to good enough throws without proper footwork and mechanics.
  11. I mean we generally score if we don’t fuck ourselves with a massive negative play or a critical penalty. If we just don’t fuck up, we score most of the time.
  12. Our receivers, other than Wingo, are not conducive to that. Last year those ball went to Mitchell, a tall athletic senior. We don’t have that guy this year.
  13. I mean it was a perfect throw, but we don’t talk about that because it wasn’t “sexy.”
  14. The boxes are not loaded. We constantly have run “friendly” boxes and cannot punish teams consistently.
  15. The box isn’t loaded guys. That’s the whole point. Nobody has to to do that because we can run consistently.
  16. If we can run the ball the offense hums. If we can’t, it struggles. The run game is inconsistent due to the RB situation. Kinda sounds like the difference between almost very good and great offense.
  17. Did you just make a Spurrier Florida reference? 25+ year old references is what we are going with now
  18. lol… that is what we do. Which is half of what this thread bitches about. All those short passes are “runs.” The inability to line up and run inside and getting safeties and linebackers to lay downhill does limit the passing game significantly
  19. Yeah, I mean it clearly was the reffing style. There were at least two pickups.
