  1. Or just add the tackling rule from rugby, if you don't wrap up it's a penalty. Funny how that forces you to become a better form tackler.
  2. Hope Howard and Roby aren’t lost. The OL has been coming around nicely and Roby was having a great game and we are thin on the backend
  3. A blowout only goes one way in this game... and it ain’t like 2000/2003
  4. It does as it get older. It’s still fucking young as hell.
  5. Our corners are freshmen, true sophomores and in Jaminson’s circumstance a true sophomore playing his first year on defense. Our 05 secondary was trash when they were young, that is just the way it is more times than not. We don’t have the personnel to make material changes. We are going to continue to play and hope the young corners grow up and figure out/learn to play the ball in the air. The only way they will get better is with experience, and we have no other choice. I’ll take this defensive game every day of the week. The offense fucking shit the bed. Sam was forcing throws to try and make the big play, Sam missing the comeback route 3-5 times, the offense not being able to get a push in the run game with two high safeties throughout the first 2.5 quarters. We have yet to play a game where the offense is on and the defense has been acceptable. That should be next week. CJ being back will help the offense tremendously. We are going to beat the shit out of OU. Fuck them.
  6. That shit doesn’t matter if he refuses to check down, or throw the ball away. This isn’t fucking madden, football doesn’t work like that. Players make plays. DW is set in being a big playmaker, and gambles by holding the ball. If you are going to do that you have to hit your throws when given the chance, plain and simple. He missed repeatedly today and never let himself get rhythm by taking the easy throws. This loss was squarely on him. He needs to acknowledge that, make adjustments to his game and move forward and redeem himself next week.
  7. DW was shit this game. Most of the sacks were on him for holding onto the ball for so long and he was just off on all his throws. If he is going to hold the ball to make plays and this take sacks as a consequence he has to be accurate when given the opportunity and today, he wasn’t.
  8. No they fucking don't. Your shtick is fucking old and tired. Is OSU going to score points? Yes. Does our defense have issues? Yes. Does OSU have three NFL wide receivers, and a senior QB that is going to be dropping fucking dimes all day, as well as a defense full of NFL talent? Fuck no they don't. We should stomp a fucking mudhole into these mother fuckers. Immediately after the mudhole there should be a public douching of Satyanash to cleanse him of this god damn vaginal syndrome that he can't help but queef up on these boards repeatedly.
  9. Does someone have the play that was blown dead? That was a gif worth LB stuff in the hole. South Austin's mom would be proud.
  10. 16 sacks, 18 TFL, and 7 FF was his stat line last year, good enough for 1st team all pro.... that is definitely a top 5 DL player stat line.
  11. It was also against the saints, their OL is a strong group and Brees doesn’t hold the ball. Watt will be fine and a top 5 DL in the league over the course of the season. I think the issue with Clowney was his injury history, microfracture etc... I think we wanted protection form that and obviously he didn’t. I think the Texans botched how they handled it, because there is no way the dude sits out and passes on ~16M. He would have played, if he dogs it he doesn’t get paid. If he kills it, then you can actually get real assets for him.
  12. Colvin is worst... countless fuck ups and then you go ahead and touch the guy down... just walk over to him and let time run out
  13. ^^Clowney is a good player no doubt. There is a series of plays in our game against the Eagles last year were he single handily kicked the ass of their entire offense. I believe he is also 3rd in TFL over the last 3 years. He can be a game wrecker, he just doesn't do it conventionally which causes problems when contract negotiations come up. Add to that, he has had micro-fracture surgery and probably only has a set number of plays left before his knee is bone on bone.
  14. I mean that is part of the NFL these days. A hold out is a hold out. If he hasn't been keeping himself in shape then he is costing himself millions of dollars with regards to a new contract from us or anyone else. I would have liked it to be solved prior to the season as well, but it is a tough situation. You have a player who thinks he should be compensated as top DL in the league, a team that doesn't agree and league that is well aware and likely doesn't agree, except for some teams that Clowney does not want to play for. If we do not get OL help or draft picks out of the any deal, then that is a major fail.
  15. Dude isn't going to sit out the season and miss out on $15M. He is going to sign, and then he is going to either play his ass off for the Texans in effort to get a payday/get a contender willing to trade for him or he will immediately be traded at the Texans discretion. Clowney has zero leverage in the situation, unless he is willing to forgo $15M, which I do not believe he is. That is the reason he fired his agent.
  16. It's not unreasonably, the 2004 team needed a last second field goal to beat a slow Big 10 team. To much sunshine being pumped prior to 2005. Our QB has only had one decent year.... /satyanashin2004...probably.
  17. Looking to buy 5 together for TEX vs Rice without getting rapped by service fees from ticket brokers. What you got?
  18. Gary Collins? Don't know him, I'm not familiar.
  19. It was the old office. There was a rumor is was Vista, then a law firm, and now MLR... it was the former space they were checking out - which has been leased to Amherst. If it was anyone else that would be confirmed by now. There is no way to keep the FBI from raiding a live office secret.
