  1. Its all about old dudes who don't want to relinquish control. There would undoubtedly be more money in a true NCAA sanctioned playoff for Div. I football.
  2. Coutee has been healthy in what, two games? I don't think anyone would call being ranked 12 out of 32 as "pretty damn good". This notion that we are vastly under-performing with our given talent level is a false narrative. As pointed out above, a sub-par OL negates most advantages in the skill talent arena, and what we have trotted out on the OL is worse than that. Secondly, we cannot claim to have superior skill talent, if none of those players can stay on the field. The offense has been absolutely as good as the sum of it's parts. The vast majority of the parts that are on the field consistently, are shit. All that said, BOB should let a drunk 5 year old call plays in goal-to-go situations, as we would have a better chance of scoring touchdowns. OL, CB, and WR help is needed very badly.
  3. Ok guy. A top 5 receiver, who is injured, and a good number 2, also injured, equals skill players as good as anyone in the league. Miller is a fucking jag, he has been since he has been here. We currently don’t even have a #3 receiver, much less a #4 or #5 and two rookie tighteneds. Fucking killer skill talent indeed. With all of that “talent” nobody is indicating that we are doing anything other than under performing on that side of the ball. So take your tampon out and realize you have no fucking clue what you’re talking about you, fucking twat.
  4. It really isn’t dude. The OL has been shit since we got a quarterback who wasn’t shit. All of that is beside the point, you made a statement that is demonstrably false. You were called on it and now you are hemhawing about god knows what. We are not one of the most talented offenses in the league. That is plain and simple. We have a good young quarterback, one of the best receivers in the league, who is hurt, and a good number 2, who is hurt. Literally every other member of the offense is replaceable. Nobody is defending Bill O’Brien.
  5. What are you trying to imply here? We have the worst OL in football, our star receiver is hurt, our 2nd receiver is hurt, or 3rd receiver is hurt, literally every other receiver on our roster not named Sammie Coats is hurt. Miller is an average at best running back, who played well today admittedly. Watson is saving this offense, all though he make you want to pull your hair out at times. We need OL help in the worst way as well as CB help. Your statement about offensive talent was factually incorrect.
  6. You mean Hopkins with a foot injury? Or Fuller with a reoccurring hamstring? Or Coutee with a reoccurring hamstring? Or two rookie tight ends? What we have been able to piece together on offense is a miracle, with the unexplainable inability to score touchdowns.
  7. What fucking parts? We can’t block for shit, have 2.5 healthy receivers and 2 running backs with subpar vision. It’s a miracle we are able to do anything on offense.
  8. They would love that because the City Council was run by what amounted to the central neighborhood organizations. They wouldn't need measures like this because their interest were served, at the behest of the majority of the city. Just like now, they want the minority interest to govern. It isn't even the overwhelming interest of the central neighborhoods, it is simply the loudest and most active groups, and they bully and drown out opposition. If you want affordability, if you want transportation solutions, then you want density. It is as simple as that. If you want a never ending rise in central Austin housing prices, continued infrastructure issues, and gentrification, then you don't. There really isn't any other way to split these hairs despite what the neighborhood groups will say.
  9. Yes, the common sense answer is to vote no.
  10. At least you're consistent in your suckage suck across the boards.
  11. Nobody is trying to turn it into the NFL. We would like to be just like every other NCAA sport, and every other level of college football, where you have a real National Champion, not a Mythical one.
  12. That is exactly why it would work.... There is significantly more money in televised playoff games, as opposed to ALA against directional university.
  13. Except it works at literally every other level of football. Most of which all have a significantly greater # of teams competing. Umm, why not?
  14. I mean the holding penalties fucked us hard. That was more responsible for killing momentum than any of the play calling.

He is inaccurate, that is fact. Completion % be damned. Watch the game with your eyes. Half of his completed passes are shit throws that if he was accurate would go for considerably more yardage. That is not opinion, it’s fact. That doesn’t mean he can’t be effective so long as he doesn’t turn the ball over, but he is who he is.
  16. After last night, she certainly is spunky.
  17. Does it blow anyone else’s mind as they read this thread to know that Icono, who is of Persian decent I believe, wears tailored counterfeit NFL jerseys, was a serious drug attic who literally S’d the D for drugs /Bob Saget (NTTIAWWT), and is now quoting scripture is supporting Trump hardcore and acting like he is rational, level headed and of sound mind? Or is it just me? This shit is wild. People are insane.

He isn’t turning the ball over during this stretch, which is a huge improvement. That’s it. He still is consistently missing wide open throws that would be scores, he is still consistently off target in the short/screen game which kills any rhythm/timing. He doesn’t have to be amazing with the football, just don’t turn it over, and don’t miss the wide open motherfuckers. Everything else is gravy.

I heard black jerseys and burnt orange capes
  20. It doesn’t matter who the QB is if the OL is as bad as ours. Been that way since the beginning, and our issue specifically since 2002
