    9-1

Offense: LT - Soph LG - Soph RG - Soph QB - Rs. Soph…. Unique too with limited amount of experience (graduated early, wasted/lost year at OSU) RB - Soph/Fr. We have more upper class men on defense but we are thin. Safety has upper class men but is weak spot with depth. LB is Ford…. And freshman Hill… everyone else is a jag/scrub CB/NB is solid, DT/DL is solid.
  2. It’s going to be tough. Ewers is hurt, Baxter isn’t 100%, Barron is hurt…. ISU is going to run a 3-high flyover look and we are going to have to run the ball to get them into looks that favor us. Brooks out is a big loss. That said the OL will need to step up, they need to play their best game of the year. This ISU team can be run on. If we can get Catalon back that would be huge. Assuming Barron can play I’m hopeful the defense is able to do away with the busts that seem to be focused around the safety spot. Would be nice to have a big special teams play/TD this game to help out. Injuries or not this is a very winnable game. Cold weather, night game, with everything on the line…. If that doesn’t get you jacked up, play a different sport.
  3. You have to make sure that ball is complete or you get the penalty. You aren’t aiming for the most perfect, in stride, td throw with the smallest margin of error. You are putting air under the ball on the outside, where AD did a great job leaving room, and letting you bad ass go up an get it or draw the penalty and win the game. You make sure your guy has a chance, not try to be “perfect.”
  4. It wasn’t a great call given the personnel we have on the field. Worthy should be the “key” block for any play. That said if he literal just puts his body in the way Cook probably finds a yard. You’re correct that our inability to succeed in short yardage influences those calls, tremendously.
  5. Crawford is a liability every time he is on the field. Hopefully we get Catalon back and Crawford doesn’t see the field… even in rotation. Thompson, Catalon, Taffe and Williams should be the only 4 we play. More importantly, hopefully 23 isn’t hurt bad. He came up kinda lame and 3 played the last couple of possessions at nickel.

Or maybe… hear me out… a lot of the most talented players on our team are young. They are really talented but they tend to do dumb shit and, like young players do, they fuck up more than they “should.” We like, most young teams, play up and down to levels of competition. Unlike last year we have mostly found ways to win. That is maturity and will be critical to the programs make up in years to come. This idea the we are crazy loaded at every position and should blow people out every game is crazy. This isn’t 2005. Nobody in the country is regularly doing that. We are a very good team, they still has room to improve. We are 9-1 and have the best win YTD in the country.

    Fuck Big 12 refs

The WR didn’t make an attempt for the ball, and the pass was out of bounds. The WR wasn’t even upset at the no call. Its a call that could have been made, but it’s not a call that “should” have been made.
  8. LT, LG, RG are all young… that is 3/5. Wtf you mean? All the real depth is young too.
  9. Glad you understand you dumb fuck
  10. Y’all are fucking hilarious… we are 9-1. Keep winning… this is not the 2005 team and never was. In terms of modern football the idea that we would recreate that team is insane. Literal best season since 2009 (best season in 14 years) and people are pissed, calling for people to be fired. You dumb fucks have no clue. Enjoy the win and shut the fuck up.
  11. Or…. And this may be crazy… we keep our DC, continue the upward trajectory of our defense (which is already pretty good). We are actually getting better each year, and developing players. We haven’t seen that trend since Muschamp was here.
  12. Lol… that is when you throw them genius.
  13. Everyone triple wrap their ankles now. This is ridiculous.
  14. No seat belts/harness and cork polo helmets, also the preferred choice of some WW1 pilots.
  15. You don’t have to be very “ready” when coverage has to be declared and you’re throwing to one on one matchups. That is making things as simple as possible for young QB. He reads blitz and know he has man or single high coverage that means the ball is coming out on the 1st/pre-snap and it’s going to worthy, Sanders, Mitchell in single coverage.
