  1. This. I invested in some Celsius after seeing @cactusflinthead recommend it. Shit is legit. One of the best lawncare investment I made. Nukes everything.
  2. get on my level
  3. This. I'd honestly be more hesitant if they had managed to nab Dabo. At least he can coach em up.
  4. Coach didn't go through the proper channels.

    2018 Shart Thread

Wife decided we should walk to the mail box the other day in 95 degree heat and humidity, and I thought I could let one rip...
  6. No sunshine. I love it.
  7. Is super k brain dead or drunk with that article. Sounds like a Hamm-special.
  8. I love and hate bermuda. Love it because it will fill in dead spots on it's own. Hate it because it will invade anywhere you don't want it to invade. Re: ZB'Tejas --I'm not sure if you have bermuda and Zoysia, or if you're just trying to get rid of any bermuda. If the former dig a trench where you want the bermuda to stop and constantly weed wack it. If the latter then roundup will kill it (yes it will send the chemical to the roots).
  9. Chinquapin oak sapling. Only cost me 2 bucks. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk
  10. Well we need OTs and DTs, so I hope it's one of those.
  11. Puts personal preferences/sports team about business. Winning strategy.
  12. Apparently there's a shortage
  13. Try Austin sod outlet or whatever they're called. Edit ^^^ that's it
  14. I've been pronouncing it "magpie".
  15. What about "surging"
  16. I always had a losing battle with my dogs and St. A where they liked to run and kick.
  17. Nice. Are those mostly live oaks.
  18. Herman's not turning over his offensive staff at then end of year 1. He'd be torpedoing himself by doing that (Riley would for sure use that to negative recruit us). Most likely he's banking on more wins this season and letting Beck take another opportunity at the end of the year. That way the perception is were replacing because of success not desperation.
  19. Thanks for the list. It's a good sized spot (big enough for an oak). But I've already got some shumards, a Monterrey, and another cedar elm, which was why was looking to mix things up. Soil has lots of clay. My old place had lots of live oaks and I'm kinda over the mess they make and trying to keep grass alive under them. We used to have a water oak when I was growing up that I loved. Might look into that as well.
  20. What is surly's opinions on your favorite (non-oak) shade tree? I'm looking to put one in later this year. I was thinking either an Cedar Elm or Ash (maybe Chinese pistache). I've always liked the ash but I know others think it's a trash tree.
  21. My Nextdoor app is just people selling their used furniture for retail prices. The FB page is usually where the fun is tho.
  22. Thanks! That's exactly what the root looks like. Pia to pull.
