  1. You know the players fear this course when Rose is in the rough 15 feet from the pin, he takes a full swing and pitches his ball 40 feet past the hole just to make sure he's out of the rough and on the green somewhere. Bogey is better than double bogey.
  2. Please tell me that you haven't procreated.
  3. The is dwarfed by the fact that it provides a convenient medium for absolute dipshits to share their lunacy and take each other down the path of utter stupidity.
  4. It will never get worst than when we were debating what it meant for our upcoming offense and season when a Garrett Gilbert led 7 on 7 team lost to Tx State.
  5. I imagine that on some distant planet some abducted Earthling human is learning to fly a miniature spacecraft to earn his food.
  6. Still a ton of golf to be played. This course is going to eat almost everyone.
  7. This is one of the reasons I closed my FB account in 2018. Even then is was a den of narcistic, insecure idiots. Watching "friends" deteriorate into absolute lunacy made me lose respect for most of them. I imagine it's only gotten worse.
  8. https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-voter-gets-choked-up-after-ice-detains-a-third-of-his-staff/ Trump Voter Gets Choked Up After ICE Detains a Third of His Staff Vincent Scardina supported Donald Trump’s tough stance on immigration at the ballot box. But that decision came back to bite the roofing boss when ICE detained a third of his workforce. The six men, all from Nicaragua, were pulled over in a work truck on May 27 while heading to a job—and carted off to jail. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies helped transport the men to a local detention facility “for deportation.” Scardina, who runs a small roofing business in Florida’s Lower Keys, cannot believe it. “It’s quite a shock. You get to know these guys, you become their friends—not just an employer but a friend,” he told NBC6, visibly emotional. Adding to Scardina’s annoyance, the men had valid work permits and pending asylum applications, according to their attorney Regilucia Smith. “They are legally here,” she said. “Valid work permit, not even close to expired… again, no criminal records—not here, not in Nicaragua.” Scardina says he voted for Trump and still supports many of the former president’s policies, but this isn’t what he signed up for. “Buyer’s remorse? I don’t know, a little bit.” The detained men represented a third of his total staff—devastating in a small labor pool like Key West. “We’re not able...to just replace people as easily as, say, a big city, [with] very limited people to pull from, and then you would have to train them, and that takes sometimes years,” he said. Even more jarring, three of the workers have now been transferred to detention centers in Texas and California. The rest remain in local custody, as their lawyer fights to have them released. Still, his colleague, Virgil Scardina, says they count themselves lucky. “I get to go home and hug my kid,” he said. “These guys don’t. And they don’t deserve that.”

  10. They forget that paying players to visit aggy and not to visit other schools has been their operation procedures since Fran years, especially the not to visit part.
  11. I thought about creating a thread for this. It probably deserves it's own thread but I don't want the thread police to bitch about a thread and not talk about the actual content. I've said it before. I work for a company who manufacturers a product, and expensive ass product--about $3.5M per unit. We also sell and manufacture/assemble a majority of the parts used to service the hundreds of parts in that product. We own about 70% of the market for that product line and own almost the same market share for parts sold to service that product. The majority of things that we "manufacture", we don't really manufacture. We either have them made internationally, a ton from China, or have the sub-components made international and we just assemble the product in the US. The actual product is made from thousands of parts made from all over the world. We simply do not have the machinery, tooling, and expertise to have all that shit made in the US. I haven't discussed cost because that's a HUGE reason it's made elsewhere. Anyway, I found this video summarizes the challenges of manufacturing in the US, how we got here, and how it's going to be a LONG term fix. It takes YEARS to set up a plant, to make the machinery, to develop the processes, to develop the tooling, to train the workers, to build the IT systems to assist production but to also manage quality. This is why people who understand manufacturing realize what a fucking shitshow it is to use tariffs to incentivize manufacturing to the US. All it's going to do is cause everyday people huge increases in costs for a solution which is going to take a long ass time to deliver, much longer than a president's 4 years. We should move manufacturing back to the US. Using tariffs to drive that is like taking a jackhammer to perform oral surgery. This administration only knows to use a jackhammer to try to solve everything. If you don't read any of the above, watch the video. It's about trying to manufature/assemble a part from USA goods and labor. Spoiler: It costs $75 versus $10-30 brushes made in China/elsewhere. Multiply this issue times 1000 extending to everyday shit that you buy from tools to groceries to pharmacy. Are you, your neighbors, you family going to pay 3-5X the price just to buy an American made product. Walmart semi tried this. It didn't work out for US made products. We need leadership from the government to help, similar to what was done for semiconductors and chips. BTW I love this channel. If you don't regularly watch, you should. It's a great channel.

  16. Where's the part which says that his major is "Meat Judging"? Also, if he has sex (NTTAWWT) with Christian men, can he claim that he's spreading the gospel?
  17. Just absolute idiocy. Fuck you if you voted for this shit. From Reddit: Supposedly some other people were running from cops and pushed her to the ground. She asked an officer chasing for help and was then mistaken for one of the people running away and detained. She was then held without notifying her husband who was traveling with them, but not with them at the time, for six hours until she was released at 11pm. I can only assume it was six hours of trying to figure out what they could charge her with so they wouldn’t have to admit they fucked up.
  18. This is all for show. There isn't a damn thing Louisiana can do about chemtrails. Science, how does it work? The dipshit charlatans in the LA House know this. It's just to appease the absolute idiotic masses that they did "something". That the charlatans can even entertain doing shit this stupid tells you what you need to know about their voting base.
  19. It depends on when and where. With the drought, there's not much run off of herpegonnorsyphillaids. Stay upstream of Shoal Creek and Waller Creek which are the waste canals through the city. After a rain, just don't get in the any of the 3 lakes for a few days. Town Lake upstream from Mopac is basically Lake Austin water.
  20. He spent 100s of millions to help elect the fuckstains and now he wants to bitch about the fuckstains being fuckstains. Elon is self serving bitch. He's just pissed they all hated him. When a group of immoral, hypocritical asswips hate you, you have to be a truly fucking special piece of shit.
  21. I am routinely in all 3 lakes. Paddle board town lake and boats on the other 2. All 3 have creeks run offs from urban areas and houses. All 3 have pesticide and fertilizer run off. The one area I would stay away from is Waller Creek entry in Town Lake, but mostly after a hard rain. But that applies to most all bodies of water. If you are really worried about Town Lake, stay upstream of Barton Creek.
  22. I've been paddle boarding on Town Lake since 2008. I've never had a problem with rashes or gotten sick. It's the same damn water that is in Lake Austin and Lake Travis. I'd rather swim in Town Lake than swim in the Gulf in August with you have a better chance of getting vibrio. LCRA is always releasing water through the dams. It's not a constant lake where the water sits idle. It gets flushed all year round.
  23. The mountain resort has things to do for kids. Kinda expensive but anything on a ski resort is going to be expensive. Hike/walk to the troll. There are tons of hikes in the area. https://www.breckenridge.com/explore-the-resort/activities-and-events/summer-activities.aspx If you are thinking a nice restaurant, you need to make reservations. La Francaise has REALLY good pastries. The crepes place is a good treat for the kids. Aurum is our spot for a nice meal. Robbie's Tavern is a good place to sit outside with a view of the mountain and have a burger and beer. Blue Fish sushi sucks. For the most part, Google maps reviews and ratings of the restaurants are pretty spot on.
