I appreciate what you bring to the board as well. A year or two back you made a long post about service errors that really hit home. Lowered my blood pressure a ton! Now, I really only get upset about 1st serve errors (give us at least 1 before you put it in the net please) or one coming out of a timeout. For the most part, I've learned to live with them so long as they don't get out of hand. Friday night vs JMU, we had 10 SE and they had 10 A through 3 and I was about to come out of my skin...sets 4 & 5 we cut that to 1/1 and got the W.

Mick does the color for the Texas State VB broadcast, but I really only get to hear him a couple of times a year as I have season tickets so I'm usually watching in person. He's as fantastic as you would expect from someone with his resume, but really stands out vs his Sun Belt competition, which leaves a LOT to be desired for the most part. After our final home match last week, I noticed him sitting off to the side as our PBP guy interviewed the player of the game, so went down to chat him up. Had to let him know how much he brings to our broadcasts and that he was appreciated. Not only because of his overall resume, but because he's been part of our broadcast team for 10 years now(? idk? more?) he knows our players so well that he is calling plays and players before the serve. Very Romo-esque in that manner. We are incredibly lucky to have him.

GJ Kinne: The next great offensive mind of CFB?

The reason you have to use a screenshot is because the tweet was deleted. That account is trash. I would be shocked if heβs not in San Marcos next year. -

And we started a fight after the game @ ULL, who now has a 13-0 record vs us. Because we're classy and all that. -
Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?

He's not CYA at all. He's been saying this consistently for at least 3 years. -

For the 2nd year in a row, one of our best players has quit on the team midseason to preserve a redshirt, ostensibly to bank NIL at a P4 next season. CFB is broken. -

Did he all of a sudden win 10 games? Is he even close to .500 vs teams w/ a winning record? There's your answer. He needs to hurry up and make the move. UTSA is going to continue to be a poor, even compared to their G5 peers. He's taken that program as high as it's ever going to go. History says that if he stays there, he's more likely to be fired than poached in the end. I don't see him getting fired any time soon, but it is ignorant to ignore history. If you watch any of his pressers, that dude seems stressed af. Morris came into this season with a HC record of 11-14. This season, he is 7-1 with zero wins against FBS team with a winning record. 0-1 vs teams w/ a winning record, although they are favored against Navy. I think Navy runs them into the ground (#1 Run O vs #120 Run D), but we'll see. I said it previously and stand by it: The most likely way Morris gets poached is by a P4 that also needs a QB. -

I'd argue it has a lot more to do with the players who have been poached - none of whom came from UIW in the 1st place. Our defense would look a whole lot different if we could have kept those guys. RB Ismail Mahdi is the leading rusher for Arizona OT Alex Harkey is starting at Oregon DT Terry Webb is starting for SMU LB Max Harris starting for Arizona LB Ben Bell is starting for VA Tech DT Dominique Ratcliff in playing at Indiana DT Tavian Coleman is playing at Colorado DE Tunmise Adeleye is playing at UNLV CB Josh Eaton is playing at Michigan State K Mason Shipley is 12/15 for Texas K Brendan Franke is 2/3 for Indiana, including one from 58yds WR Kole Wilson at Baylor (#4 WR) and OL Jimeto Obigbo at Arizona State (reserve, but playing) are the only players we'd love to still be in SMTX that originally came from UIW. However, Wilson was a GJK recruit, not a Morris recruit. -

We're not entirely dead yet, but it will just about take a miracle to even hit 6 wins and a bowl game at this point. At least we don't have to listen to the nonsense about Kinne getting poached anymore. Silver linings and whatnot. While JMU was putting belt to ass last night, we did have a pretty badass TD throw from our QB: -

Certainly not a Defensive Genius, and apparently only an Offensive Genius early? Funny how all the talk of Kinne getting poached stops in October. -

Bobcats w/ the SWT throwbacks for Homecoming. We've been doing this the past couple of years and it's a great look.
