  1. Worth it. Literally liquifies whatever you want.
  2. Help me workshop this: Humpty Trumpty or Trumpty Dumpty?
  3. Whatta you need all that ketchup for?
  4. I suppose Seinfeld scholars rarely are.
  5. Holy. Shit. You just significantly altered my Seinfeld universe. I never realized the line was, "I'm Gladys Mayo." I have always thought it was her saying, "I'm glad it's Mayo" (as a pun on "I'm glad it's mine.") which I always considered groan-worthy. Thank you, sir. You are a Seinfeld scholar and a gentleman.
  6. PS - that line has always bugged the hell out of me. That and the fact that Elaine is noticably pregnant even under all the Mayan skirts, etc.
  7. Looks great. Quick question: Where did you find invisible hot sauce and cheese?
  8. That's a lot of real shiny china, there Ozymandias. What is this, the dang Four Seasons meatloaf?
  9. Nice, gasman. That's a good Santa!
  10. ZZ Top: Just Got Paid The break at about 1:30 in is about the most blues/rock/groove you will ever find. And the main riff ain't bad either.
  11. Fwiw, I'm looking to replace my Bosch appliances - DW, fridge and range. I actually already swapped a Samsung fridge because the Bosch was so shitty and we needed a quick solve that was cheaper so we can evaluate longer term remodel option. Our Bosch stuff is only about 5 years old (installed before we bought the house) but it's all pretty mediocre. We will ideally have Miele or sub zero and Viking (oh, did I mention I'm also planning to win the lottery to fund my remodel). Have heard some good things about KitchenAid appliances. Anecdotal aside, we have a foodie friend who just spent $40k to do a double wide fridge and crazy ass Viking ovens and top/hood and they hate it. Fridge sounds like a freight train and the ovens raise the room temp in the kitchen by about 15 degrees whenever they fire up more than a few stations. Moral: unintended consequences can be expensive.
  12. You want a Christmas card? You want a Christmas card? Here! Here's your Christmas card!
  13. As a PS, I'm currently in the market for a 2012-2014 Land Cruiser - looking to buy one for $50K or under. I had one several years ago and foolishly sold it.
  14. True, but in 5 years you can still sell it for $60K. Or you can realize you have purchased the preeminent SUV of all time and drive it like a boss for eternity which is about how long it will last.
  15. And instead of a tree, didn't your father put up an aluminum pole?
  16. In no particular order and I don't know that I'll make it to ten.... since a lot of good ones already listed, in particular Mitski, Big Red Machine, Leon Bridges, John Prine, Brandi Carlisle. Some others: Death Cab for Cutie Phosphorescent Jeff Tweedy Boygenius Christine and the Queens (some hits and misses) And do Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett just put out anything in any given year and make these lists regardless?
  17. This thread needs more grilled swordfish. Salt, pepper, olive oil on the grill, then played with some lemon wedges. And great with blackening spices, old bay, etc too.
  18. No tbone? No. There's no tbone. Why no tbone?
  19. What's the worst that can happen to a nose? What does it get? Stuffed?
  20. I've obviously been doing this wrong for lack of complication. My method has always been: melt a little butter, put onions in, make them hot but not too fast, and stir them so all surfaces hit the heat over the course of, say, 20 minutes. Fin. But that's just for general burger, tex-mex, or steak sandwich purposes.... I imagine there's much more refinement needed for FO soup.
  21. Original design wasn't long enough.
