  1. Theyd pick her up in about five minutes.
  2. I like cheek meat from just about any animal and dammit if Al's post doesn't check all the right boxes, but that image impels a Rorschach-like impulse in me that just says, "ew." Probably tasted awesome, though.
  3. I won't go dig up all the hilarity on the www that supports this particular "theory," but I'll be damned if it's not possible Trump can't read.
  4. You think I'm especially not a genius?
  5. I listened to the Clapton album... It lost me at that weird-ass jingle bells.
  6. I just have to laugh. And cry with emotions.
  7. She's so excited and she just can't hide it. C'mon, Mueller, let's do this thing! The anticipation is killing me.
  8. I'm even more potent now.
  9. Preach, brother Tuco, preach!
  10. Go with a reputable brand, like, say, Gibson. And something cool looking and popular, I don't know, a Les Paul? But the key is get something old and used so it's probably cheaper.... like, say, one from 1959.
  11. You seem to be channeling Jimmyjazz a bit... but I agree on the dots. Otherwise, that thing is smoke, though. Man.
  12. Sorry for quoting this Trump troll dork, but hammer I can honestly say that if you care about any of things - regardless of where on the spectrum you are politically - you should be praying (which I'm sure you do regularly... Sarcasm) that this fat orange nitwit is gone sooner than later.
  13. I'd take the Miata. NTTAWWT
  14. Actually, maybe more accurately, all your base are belong to RUS.
  15. All your base are belong to us.
  16. Dammit, beat me to it!

  19. Well, well, well.... and what a great price! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ol/B000FZYX62/ref=olp_tab_all
  20. Unibrow butt.
  21. This page... yes, to all of it.
  22. I should elaborate that the DWR purchase was no cheaper or more expensive than you can get from others that can sell Eames, but they did have, at the time of our purchase, at least, the best shipping deal and had exact chair we wanted ready to ship faster than Herman Miller could. I agree the "within reach" bit is a misnomer, but they do have some special deals and outlet inventory, so if you're already looking to get a silly expensive chair, it's worth looking at. We also were super paranoid about buying something off eBay, etc. because we don't know nearly enough to detect fakes so wanted to play it safe.
  23. I got a poke bowl one time when I was really hungry and, ordering from delivery, I just added on every add-on they had... as I clicked on one - crab salad - I distinctly thought to myself, "I don't even like crab salad and that seems like it could make me sick from a to-go, delivery sushi place.... ah, fuck it, what's the likelihood of that happening, let's roll..." Suffice it to say, I have not nor will I ever eat imitation crab again. The worst part of this whole thread is knowing that it's sometimes the best foods that can betray you the worst. To wit, I had a chicken fried steak once (assuming that was the culprit) that barely lasted 3 hours in my system then had me inside out for about 12 hours. The weird thing about the few times I've had some food poisoning is that it's so awful when I'm in the throes of it, but then I wake up at some point and it's just completely gone.... and my main sensation is that I'm utterly starving and have no qualms about eating anything as long it's not the last thing I ate that got me sick. Like, sick for two days, barely maintaining the strength to stand, and yet immediately make a trip to Maudies and crush a bowl of queso and a Regular Dinner.
  24. Well, now hold on... Do you ever yearn, bro?
  25. We have the eames lounge chair and love it. At one point we almost succumbed to the temptation to go with a cheaper version, but there really isn't a comparable version out there. Design within Reach does a sale once a year and we just pulled the trigger after deliberating for years. We also have two eames rockers that are great. And indestructible with two little kids and a lab. Would love to outfit our bedroom in Heywood Wakefield but we can only afford to buy one thing at a time. Great thread, btw. Will read again.
