  1. Forsberg didn’t get a ton on that shot but it was a good solid save by Otter.
  2. Ice feels like it’s definitely been tilted in the Preds favor so far. First look at our PP coming up.
  3. In Houston and not blacked out on ESPN+. It’s going to be an interesting viewing season figuring out what’s there and what’s on Victory+. Not to mention how to DVR stuff if we’re not around at the start of the game. Is there a play from the start option with either of those?
  4. Opening night tonight. Finally. Ready to see how we look when it matters. Let’s go!
  5. For all of her power and talent it is unbelievable how often she does this.
  6. This could be a quick 2nd set. Aryna just rolling.
  7. I would absolutely love to see Pegula take the title but Aryna has played so well. It’s going to take a perfect match for Jessica to win.
  8. Nope. She did not. Looking forward to Sinner/Paul tonight.
  9. Tiafoe and Fritz have both played well. Looking forward to their next matches. Wozniacki just forced a third set. Would like to see her pull this out.
  10. Unfortunately nothing about seeing our OL in live game action tonight has changed my thoughts that we’re headed for an 8-5/7-6 those year this season. Definitely not SEC ready on that side of the trenches.
  11. All great stuff. Thank you guys so much. We’ve white water rafted class III and class IV rapids in Canada and are definitely planning on rafting in this trip. Looks like there are some great options for that.
  12. Much appreciated. We do plan to spend most of the trip in the mountains and on the trails but I’m sure he will want to do some normal 12 year old stuff too. Sounds like that puts Gatlinburg back on the table.
  13. 12 year old son and I are looking at a boys trip in September. We were thinking Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg but that has changed to Asheville after reading this thread. Any recs for cabins on the mountain for lodging in that area. Seems like there are a ton of them when I look online. Anyone have a favorite or one they had a great experience with?
  14. There is the Surly I was looking for. Outstanding job carrying the flag Fletch!
  15. The announcers kept mentioning that we’re playing for a Top 8 national seed if we win the tournament. While that would be awesome, I don’t see it happening. I think even if we win it we finish just outside the Top 8 seeds. Have to win the tournament before we worry about that.
  16. Fuck OU and all that good shit. Yeah, I know. But Skip just let our starter throw a 120 pitch complete game shutout. That’s almost unheard of the way the game is being played, coached and managed today. Feels damn good to have given our bullpen the day off. Let’s see how you guys fare tonight. Love reading half of you guys wanting to go 2 and cue to save the arms and the other half wanting to come out of the loser’s bracket. Surly at its finest.
  17. I didn’t see anything over the weekend to change my thoughts from last week. Still think UT should be ranked #1 right now based on SOS and quality wins. That will sort itself out when we play later in the season. UT has looked damn good. Your frosh pitcher is going to be a handful for the next 4 years. We have Mary Nutter this weekend. No highly ranked teams but not directional school U like last weekend. Something tells me we may not get through this weekend unscathed. Just a sneaking feeling watching our bats so far through the first couple of weeks of the season.
  18. Agreed. That absolutely sucks for her. She was so excited to go home and lead that program. She’ll rehab like a beast to be ready for 2025. Get well Jordy.
  19. They won’t drop us from 1 until we lose a game but if I were voting and being completely objective I’d have UT at 1 after the way you dismantled everyone this weekend. Particularly the UCLA game. It will be interesting to see how the Lady Bruins respond against the Cowgirls today. OSU hasn’t looked great against pretty weak competition this weekend.
  20. There is a lot of truth in that comment. OU/Washington was close because Hansen was called for obstruction on a runner we threw out at the plate. Extended the inning and UDub scored their three. It was the right call the way the rule is written but I still hate that rule. We certainly did look mortal this weekend though. Way too many fly ball outs. And UT looked absolutely dominant. Looking forward to Cowgirls/UCLA today and seeing how you guys look in Clearwater. Then seeing how we look at Mary Nutter in a couple of weeks.
