  1. ^^^^ This Was just about to post this. Lehman and several other former Sooners are blasting this having to apologize bullshit on Twitter. We want no part of this. Fuck Bowlsby and the Big 12 for making Hager apologize. Fuck that participation trophy attitude. Hager doesn’t have a damn thing to apologize for. I’m all for every UT player, coach and fan saying OU Sucks every time they get a chance. It’s a fucking rivalry. We hate each other. Quit pussifying every damn thing about this sport and this and every rivalry.
  2. Ah, another Sci Guy follower upthread. Only weather person I trust, Storm.
  3. ISU played a helluva a game Al. They play like that the rest of the season and they'll have a really strong year.
  4. If that was an OU catch, I'd want it. So I think it's an ISU catch. Helluva an effort and a helluva a call by Campbell.
  5. Think he was down but that's a season ending injury for another RB. Damn.
  6. Good camera shot right there. That's a catch.
  7. Neither one of these teams have any interest in tackling anyone today. Complete shit show.
  8. This! Damn he is one hell of a WR. Making himself some NFL money down the road today. Beast mode Al. He's going to give lots of teams fits.
  9. Welcome to the party NFT! And great job Callo, Diablo and Pearland! Keep it up! Pretty good Friday morning. College football started back in earnest last night. Went 4-1 on my wagers. And woke up this morning to a scale of 179.5. I've officially hit my goal weight. Started this at 221 on May 14. That's 41 pounds. When I started this, my 38 inch shorts were super tight, was on the verge of going up to 40s. I bought 34s last weekend and they're loose enough to conceal carry underneath IWB comfortably. My waist at my belly button (not my hips) was 44 inches. Now it's down to 35. I don't miss those 7 inches, lol. This thread has been a huge help and support system for all of us trying to get back to a healthier lifestyle. Much appreciated! I'll keep checking in here and holding myself accountable to not gaining it back. Not to mention cheering on the rest of you guys! Heading to the Astros game tonight. Have an awesome Labor Day weekend all. Don't cheat too bad. But if you do, get right back on when the weekend ends and you'll be back on track!
  10. Took NMSU +5.5 and under 46.5. So it should definitely go the other way, lol.
  11. Hmmm, was 183.9 Monday morning before I left for Vegas Monday morning. Came in at 183.4 this morning. Only lost half a pound in Vegas this week even with eating extremely keto and IF and walking/exercising all week. Interesting. We'll see what the next few days bring. May be at the point where exercising is starting to build back more muscle and will actually make it tougher to lose pounds. Did lose another inch off my waist this week so that's positive movement. Long term goal is still 180. Might take me a couple of more weeks to get there...
  12. At McCarron on my way home after a 5 day business trip to Vegas. Have actually been really good. Stayed with the keto all week. No sweets, no treats, super low cards and stayed on IF. Will be interesting to see what the scale says tomorrow morning. Averaged about 15000 steps a day and hit the gym 2 of the 5 days.
  13. Pretty successful week back on the wagon. 183.9 this morning. Lost everything I gained on vacation. 4 more pounds to go to get to my long term maintenance weight goal. Business trip to Vegas for corporate meetings this week. Going to do everything I can to stay in ketosis and stick with IF. Really don't want a setback this close to my goal. Should be interesting.
  14. If that's all the penance required for being a sooner, I'll happily take it and move on. In all seriousness, I'm really looking forward to scouts the next few years. Think it will be awesome to be a part of it with my son.
  15. Won't be long now GottaB. You're almost there. Feels awesome doesn't it!
  16. That’s terrific Diablo. Keep it up!!!
  17. After fighting fight delays and cancellations for 36 hours (thanks United), finally got home from a great vacation last night. Stepped on the scale this morning and gained 5 pounds on vacation. 189.8 this morning. Honestly, that's not nearly as bad as I was expecting it to be. Right back on the Keto wagon today. Going to be a rough few days getting back into ketosis and 16:8 IF but it's worth it. Would like to get down to 180 over the next few weeks then stay there permanently. Great job to everyone upthread this last week!
  18. Would love to do something like that ROFL but am worried my business travel schedule will prohibit that level of involvement. I coach his spring and summer baseball teams now and will continue to do so as long as he wants to play. Not sure how much time outside of that I’ll have left with traveling for work. I’ll do whatever I can though with the time I do have available.
  19. Timely bump. LSS jr is starting first grade a week from Monday. Meet the teacher is next week sometime. Last year, there wasn’t a kindergarten troop at our elementary so he’s been waiting a year to join scouts. We’ll sign him up at meet the teacher. I wasn’t in scouts growing up so interested to see what it’s going to be like. Hopefully it will be as fun and educational and character building as is portrayed.
  20. All good points Brew, this last one and your ones above. Between us and the kids and their friends I’m probably looking at carrying at least 8, skiing and pulling tubes. I had that old Glastron I mentioned above for most of my 20s before I passed it along to a younger cousin. Not in a super rush and tend to do my due diligence with big purchases so I’ll start looking around and be patient until the right one comes along.
  21. This is my main concern about a fish and ski. I’ve read they don’t do either well also. Between this sage take and the other one I quoted, guess I’ll start looking at ski boats.
  22. We live in The Woodlands. Don’t plan on spending much time on Lake Conroe. Not a fan of it. Would probably be driving to Canyon Lake on weekends we go out. I’m just introducing the kiddos to fishing so yep, it’s probably going to be used for more social/recreational than fishing unfortunately. Would still like to take it out myself fishing occasionally.
  23. Just put the quote above post up on the boat fanatic thread. Realize it may be sac religious to ask about a fish and ski boat on the fishing thread. If I get crucified for it so be it. I’ll take the punishment, lol. Anyone have any thoughts on a good fish and ski these days until the kids get out of the house and I can go back to a real fishing boat?
  24. Given the high end boats on this thread, not sure if this is the right place to post this. If not, delete post, ban user, etc, etc. Grew up spending pretty much every weekend I wasn’t playing ball at the lake fishing and skiing. Some of my best memories. Wife spent a ton of time doing the same (well, skiing anyway) in Calgary growing up. Have decided that we’re going to start looking at boats so we can do the same with our kiddos before they get any older. Daughter is 11 and son is 6. Boat I grew up on was a 21ft Glastron fish and ski. What is the shag consensus on good fish and ski’s now? Have looked at the Tahoe’s at Bass Pro. Look nice but haven’t run into a lot of real world reviews of them. Would like to be 21-24ft and 200+hp and under $40k new. Wouldn’t mind a good used one either but seems like the good quality ones hold value pretty well and don’t necessarily save tons of cash buying used. Anyone on here running a great weekend warrior fish and ski you love?
  25. You can do this Callo. You have it in you. Think of the end goal. You’ll feel so much better when you get there.
