  1. For whatever reason, the Mannings, as savvy as they are, are buying what Sark is selling, and that’s good for Texas.
  2. I thought the same thing, then I thought about base running as well as hitting…
  3. It gets tricky if runners are already on base.
  4. Silas needs to hit the first pitch he sees over the fence.
  5. This is funny because last weekend I grilled a couple dozen burgers for a group. Each burger had freshly ground black pepper and ground salt on each side. They were delicious. The next morning when I woke up my grinding arm hurt so dadgum bad! I can still feel it a little as I type this.
  6. Saw it, liked it, took me back to 1986, and that was a good thing. Pretty sure I saw the original in THX in Austin, probably at that theater used to be on Ben White east of I35. Saw it with my son, so I’ve come full circle.
  7. I never had any issues walking around downtown Pitt. Been to several O&G conventions down there.

    Getting old sucks

    prolly just drunk that day.
  9. Good call. Went this way with the Tramontina.
  10. In fact - I was looking hard at the Cuisinart stuff. We still have a few of the Revereware pans that I got 35 years ago. Looking for a similar deal here.
  11. What are the must have pots & pans for a daughter (no pics) moving into her first real adult apartment? Brand? Type? We have a combination of D3 All-Clad and some older stuff. I like stainless for the durability and ease of use. Opinions?
  12. Maybe we can find a guy that can hold the center field camera still next season.
  13. A better meal than you will get most places in town
  14. There’s nothing redeeming about low fat or imitation cheese. I’d rather have nothing.
  15. I can't stand Chris Burke. He literally knows nothing about anyone other than Tennessee. He wasn't this bad in past years, but he has gone full blown homer. This Chris Burke? https://www.google.com/search?q=chris+burke+home+run&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:9aeb9737,vid:r7eFAtYiBSM,st:0

Generally it's free at Kroger pharmacy if you have normal medical insurance. Don't need a Dr's permission if you're over 50. I took the shots and felt terrible (mild fever, chills, body aches, etc.) for about 8 hours 12 hours after the shot, then was fine.
  17. Oscar's BBQ in Cisco, TX, late 70's/early 80's was a "must stop".
  18. I did it also. Also my 15th time, though not in a row. My first was in 1991. I wasn't all that impressed with the finish in Collie Station. I'm glad I wasn't riding with a group the last mile or so with all the 90 deg turns.
  19. This is straight off of the Google search for Loving Co.: Loving County is a county in the U.S. state of Texas. With a population of 64 per the 2020 census, it is the least-populous county in the contiguous United States. Its county seat and only community is Mentone. The county was originally created in 1887, and after being disorganized in 1897, was reorganized in 1931. Wikipedia Area: 677 mi² Founded: 1931 Population: 117 (2020) County seat: Mentone Unemployment rate: 0.8% (Mar 2022) Congressional district: 23rd Cities: Mentone Maybe they're also counting dogs, cats, & horses in the census out there.
