  1. Like some of them weren’t?
  2. Hate to say it, but Fla looks overmatched here.
  3. Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day. Fourth loaf I think. It’s a little denser than I like but the method is very simple and quick as far as the work required. I’m going to keep working on my techniques.
  4. Pretty good. At our national sales meeting one year, a subset of the guys ended up in a strip joint and ran up a monster tab, and hung it on one particular dude. That dude was pretty wasted and got mad. A scene ensued and he left the club to go to his truck after his pistol and was headed back in when a couple of the guys tackled him, got the gun and took him to the hotel.
  5. Drink on the beach in the rain. It's funny, we've been going to Port A since the 70's. In the summer time when we go down, we've had wet years, dry years, windy years, calm years, hot years, hurricane years, beach tar years, sargasso years, mosquito years, shark years, man-o-war years, etc. Waiting for the cold year in July.
  6. The University is not petty and cheap. If there was sufficient reason to fire him for cause it would already be in the public eye. They can't be petty and cheap and attract the next guy (in baseball, track, basketball, etc). There are always legal hoops to jump through for paying out a lump sum and that stuff takes time to get everyone on board with.

    Colonoscopy

Good luck, we're all counting on you.
  8. My Rainier didn’t look like that when we were there last September. Actually it probably did look like that, we just couldn’t see it in the rain.
  9. I wanted to do Vail pass so bad when I lived in Denver, but wife, small kids, etc. never had time.
  10. Agree that Speith’s game approach is more interesting. He’s more likely to hole it out of the green side bunker for birdie. Scottie’s more likely to sink a 6 ft putt for birdie (or hole it from the fairway).
  11. Scottie should be OK at Pinehurst because he hits it into the fairway which I’m told is easier to hit the second shot from than where I normally play from (the creek bottom, the trees, the cart path etc.).
  12. Sorry for your misfortune.
  13. he's got some shiftiness side to side. They like to run the touchdown play at that school.
  14. It’s funny about French lunches. A colleague and I were in a smaller French city some years ago where we were negotiating a large technical equipment sale for several days. We generally worked through technical details in the morning, had the French 2.5 hour lunch beginning with an aperitif, a different bottle of wine with each course, ending with dessert wine. Then we went back and worked on the commercial portions of the contract in the afternoon. The combination of the lunch coupled with jet lag and we would agree to almost anything we were so fried.
  15. Shoshone Point might be the perfect hike distance. 2.2 miles round trip and 137 ft of elevation. Just right. Thanks for that suggestion.
