  1. Tyrese Hunter might not be a Power 5 player.
  2. Eh. UCLA was reasonably talented when Chip got there (the previous 4 recruiting classes hovered in the 15-20 range) and he proceeded to drop them down to the 30-50 range. Mora won 37 games in a 4 year stretch and CK's best years were 8/9/8 wins with truly some of the softest schedules in P5 history. He's kind of the reverse Jimbo, completely abandoned talent acquisition in favor of "culture" guys and Xs and Os.
  3. It's so great. Recruits love to say "[Insert Rival School] offered me 2x the NIL but I chose [Righteous Upstanding School] instead." and fanbases eat it right up. See it on every reddit recruiting thread.
  4. Tyrese Hunter is genuinely terrible. A negative player. His development has basically reversed since transferring and is a black eye on Rodney Terry.
  5. You are not allowed to do the "I hate college football these days" thing when you are less than a month removed from winning a national championship with 4 excellent transfers starting.
  6. This is pretty interesting, have you heard that Stanford is ramping up NIL operations to compete in football? As far as I can remember, they've only really landed a few guys from Mater Dei who were sought after nationally in the last few recruiting cycles and obviously they have to battle probably the toughest admissions hurdles of any P5 program.
  7. The funny thing is they don't even really fantasize about beating us themselves, they just expect big brothers Bama, Georgia and LSU to do so. It's hilarious that they've spent a decade getting whipped and, instead of developing a dislike of those programs, they have some weird Stockholm Syndrome. Aggies are a naturally subservient group.
  8. Having 4-5 starter level WRs also makes you injury proof. I particularly like this one because he brings a different element than the other guys and can maintain production for us in the slot.
  9. I don't think Arky gets better by replacing KJ with a young Mountain West QB. They've lost three/four of the few decent players they had last year, taken a bunch of McJags and kept a diabetic lame duck coach. The only case for them getting better is that they lost to BYU, Aggies and Mississippi State and thus almost cannot be any worse.
  10. Aggies should extend Bjork for, say, 10 years/$95 million.
  11. Jeff Banks it's time to get the monkey involved. do what must be done.
  12. I'm not worried about either of those guys really. If guys are leaving because better players are ahead of them, understandable and good for the program.
  13. We're not going to literally stop getting defensive lineman on our roster because Bo Davis left.
  14. Can you please just use the website that you run. Way too active here lately
  15. Every spring/summer, Ags go undefeated and the candy ass sips go 6-6 (6 wins mostly due to ESiPN reffing bias). They're a hypothetical dynasty.
  16. My favorite part here is the guy (who was given a swift Looch ban hammer for questioning the Elk) expresses some doubt as to whether a 3rd team MAC guy is an elite pickup and the response "Since you're such a stud god why don't you walk up to him and call him the pword." These people are seriously deranged.
  17. Bolden brings a lot to the table that Keilan did not. He's a good route runner with solid hands. He doesn't have the straight line speed but is much shiftier - certainly wouldn't expect many handoffs to him. In a way, I could see him replacing some of what Whittington did in the slot with better YAC ability. I'd be pretty happy to add him and the Liberty kid and call it a day.
  18. Not saying it's helpful to have Bohls and his ilk around, but the constant propaganda and TexAgs level of sway in the A&M athletic department is probably more damaging.
  19. Sitting SEC championship and playoff semifinalist WR coach stupid sip
  20. 100% agree with this. Can't imagine it's a money issue unless they liquidated a children's hospital for this contract. Can never really fault a guy for going back to his alma mater/first coaching stop but I think this would be a decent blow to our DL recruiting. BD's development has been nothing short of spectacular the past two years.
  21. To be clear, are you asking for a logical reason that the Aggies are doing something?
  22. Yes, this was the main concern before the game and played out pretty much exactly as expected. Washington has a sixth year QB and 3 veteran WRs all of whom are ready to play in the NFL right now. Taafe, who has produced better than you should expect for a walk on, and Thompson will be working in cubicles. We were a very good team this year but there's still work to do to raise the talent level of the roster - next year should be better in that regard.
