  1. That's why I said 7-8 SEC teams could win the Big 12 this year. I'm aware that there are bad SEC teams just like there are bad teams in every other conference. However, this is probably the weakest that the Big 12 has ever been.
  2. Have you watched any Big 12 games this year? There are probably 7-8 SEC teams that would win the Big 12 this year.
  3. Missouri should go back to the Big 12 if they ever want to contend for anything again. They don't recruit at the level that is needed to be a contender in the SEC.
  4. Bama looks like they celebrated that UGA win a little too much.
  5. Whether it's fair or not, the QB gets the blame when their team loses. On the other hand, the QB also gets all of the glory if their team wins, so I guess it's somewhat fair. To be fair, Romo did have his fair share of chokes in the playoffs. The losses in the Seattle wildcard game the Giants divisional game were definitely on him. The Giants loss in particular was horrible considering how stacked that Cowboys team was. That team had 13 players on it that went to the pro bowl. Dak has never had a team that was anywhere near as stacked as that 2007 team was.
  6. I had a feeling that Missouri was very overrated. They almost lost to Vanderbilt at home.
  7. In my opinion, OU is pretty similar to Michigan. Both of them rely on their defenses to keep them in games since their offenses can't do much.
  8. I don't know why someone that is Mack's age would want to deal with modern college football. I'm sure that he has more than enough money to retire.
  9. It's obvious that some of this is due to UGA being nervous. Bama is the only team that has had their number.
  10. Bama has a serious hex over Georgia for whatever reason.
  11. Bama looks scarier than they did last year.
  12. Even though it was a win, they got out gained in total yardage and almost lost to Daniel Jones at QB.
  13. MSU is really bad. It should be a comfortable win, even with Arch. Quinn will be needed for OU and UGA.
  14. I don't think that NIL will remain in its current state forever. More situations like the one at UNLV will inevitably happen, and it will cause a lot of schools to complain about it, especially since it causes legal issues for them. NIL complaints are already starting to mount as it is. Saban was in DC a few weeks ago talking about the need for national legislation in regard to NIL. I don't know how quickly it will come, but I think that NIL will eventually be regulated.
  15. Even though they'd likely be bench warmers for a few years, they'd still be making way more money than they would be with NIL deals in college.
  16. Exceptionally talented players coming out of high school could absolutely be drafted into the NFL. If a college football program is willing to pay a player millions of dollars before they've proven a single thing on the field, it's a clear sign that program firmly believes that the player is exceptionally talented and has an NFL future. Before the NBA introduced the rule that required draft-eligible players to be one year removed from high school, LeBron and Kobe were drafted straight out of high school and went on to become some of the best basketball players ever.
  17. College football is already a shell of its former self in its current state. I don't see what real harm that people coming straight out of high school and being drafted into the NFL would do. If an 18-year-old already thinks that their talent is worth millions of dollars before they play a down of college football, it's probably a good indication that they probably think that they're already pro material.
  18. Beating Lebby into oblivion will be a pleasure to watch.
  19. I would usually agree, but Auburn isn't exactly a world-beater this year. They've already lost two home games to Arky and Cal.
  20. Do you really think all of these 18-year-olds are filing their taxes properly? The IRS will be showing up at a lot of these kids' doors in the near future if I had to guess. That will escalate things quicker than anything else will.
  21. I think the only requirement is that they have to be three years removed from high school. College isn't technically required.
  22. A simple solution, though it will likely never happen, would be for the NFL to allow 18-year-olds to be draft eligible. If a player thinks that they're worth millions of dollars straight out of high school, they should be able to go play in the NFL if they want to. It would help filter out the players that are only playing college football for the sake of getting a payday and nothing else.
  23. A car is nothing compared to throwing millions of dollars at an 18-year-old because a recruiting service said that they have really good potential. They're getting paid that kind of money without having proven anything on the field yet.
  24. I think that legal issues will eventually derail NIL or at least cause significant regulations of it. Also, it's only a matter of time before the IRS gets involved with NIL earnings, especially since millions of dollars are involved in a lot of these NIL deals.
