The issue isn't that they do it, it's that they do it throughout the entire game, not just at the start and end. Tech fans have also been accused of throwing batteries and beer bottles onto the field for multiple decades now. They're a very hostile crowd for a visiting team to play in front of.
A bunch of 50+ year old men whining about not being able to throw tortillas onto a football field perfectly sums up Tech's fan base. They've always been douches because they think the world is somehow against them.
I'm glad to see that someone is starting to crack down on that degenerate fan base. Anyone who ever went to a UT-Tech game in Lubbock knows that Tech fans are by far the most hostile fanbase.
So, we beat a top 25 team on the road, they scored a junk time touchdown to make the score look more respectable, and that suddenly makes us a bad team? This Vanderbilt team beat Alabama just a few weeks ago.
They've put up 30+ points in every single game outside of Georgia. Losing to an elite Georgia team has clouded a lot of people's judgement when it comes to this offense.
Ohio State is impressive in the sense that they have managed to trick a lot of people into thinking that they are an elite program by beating up on Rutgers and Purdue every year.
Vanderbilt's DL doesn't have anywhere near the level of talent that Georgia's does, so I'm not concerned about the offense today. I can see Vanderbilt's QB potentially giving the defense some fits, but we should still win comfortably.
Notre Dame with their 1950s offense won by 10 points on aggy's home field. Missouri was clearly overrated, so I don't really see that as an impressive win for aggy.
