  1. Not sure heā€™d incite a riot. Theyā€™re in different categories. I abhor Cruz. Our daughters go to the same camp so Iā€™m exposed to him for a day every summer. Heā€™s very aloof and is basically a fat dork. One of his daughters got booted from the camp a few years ago because sheā€™s fucked up. I give Cruz credit for not making a big stink about it, or pulling his other daughter from camp. I fully expected him to do both.
  2. @cactusflinthead @Gil Bang Allred all day although I wouldnā€™t put Cruz in the Trump category. I have no idea what Brisketā€™s questions are. im not sure what past positions you speak of. My final straw with Trump? I never voted for him. Ever since I developed Trump consciousness, I did not like him. I do not vote for substandard candidates (that later prove themselves to be unfit traitors). Didnā€™t in ā€˜16, ā€˜20, and wonā€™t in a month.
  3. Evil dill insurance companies are bribing you to get your teeth cleaned. ā€œIā€™ll wear this one.ā€
  4. Iā€™m not right wing pal. My kids know how much I despise Trump. Talk about it regularly.
  5. Not scared of trans kids. Iā€™m backing away from the thread. Will let you know where we play collegiately. I suspect Iā€™ve got 1-2. Certainly at least one. UT possibilities. Not right wing.
  6. You work hard for your humblebrags, donā€™t you? We play all over the country. In lax, we play Palm Springs, Vail, Denver and Annapolis every year. In hoops weā€™ve played in tournaments in Austin, Houston, all over south Dallas, OKC, C Springs, Cincy, and Vegas. In 7on7 (son), we donā€™t travel. Teams from all over the South come to us, and even Hawaii. Tournaments in Dallas, Austin and College Station. We won every tournament including state champ. I know a lot more about club ball in any sport than you. Edit: baseball - play in ā€˜World Seriesā€™ every year in Florida that we win. I breed excellence.
  7. I paused the screen and reviewed his messages with the bot. Itā€™s fucking hysterical.
  8. No im serious. Im not his biggest fan, but Junior is quiet a lot whereas a lot of hosts donā€™t sit there and listen. Theyā€™re too busy ready to say what is on their mind. Iā€™m not just talking about the younger guys, but itā€™s all over the Hard Line with experienced guys like Bob and Corby. So, when Junior speaks, it has some gravity to it. Junior is who Bob would like to be, but has no control. Junior is a very underrated key to how that show operates and is underappreciated and in fact unappreciated here. With Doocy in for him, itā€™s definitely fun, but too much of a circus. Junior is very much like Rhyner in this regard before Rhyner stopped caring and let Corby and Danny run wild.
  9. I like Doocy but he is exposed to us exactly as much as he should be. Heā€™s almost a beating as is. Not funny, tired, and mailed-in bit.
  10. None. As I said, Iā€™m unconcerned about this. I laugh at the Cruz commercials and wonder who they actually draw offsides. I like that Texas has taken a Lia Thomas situation off the table, limited as that may be to this state and location of competition in collegiate postseasons, and the sheer (lack of) volume of Lia Thomas type incidents. Period. Iā€™m just not gonna opine on abortion. Iā€™ll just say Iā€™m pro choice.
  11. Correct. Do you not see Dahobbs and Beau Vine and Nivek and many others immediately take my comment and turn it into an abortion rant?
  12. As Iā€™ve said countless times, the comment was limited to the topic at hand and the topic many were piling on about that was never intended to be discussed - my opinion would likely surprise. No on electoral college. Absolutely I do support significant limitations.
  13. She plays on a travel team all over the country. My daughters are very long and fast and springy. Appreciate your presumptions. You should type longer posts.
  14. Roddy Ho reminds of what a British Asian ztejas would be like.
  15. Not what I said. Iā€™ll repeat, Iā€™m glad my family lives in Texas. I suspect people would be surprised on my opinion on the topic you and the 5 people who negged me so desperately want to discuss, but Iā€™m not gonna go there. Yes, this was a provocative CR thread at the outset, but yall insist on making it more so.
  16. NCAA has been a bastion of idiocy long before the NIL era. They may not be toothless in this particular issue as it stands today, but if they donā€™t get it right, theyā€™ll see how fleeting their power is.
  17. Because the very strong narrative on Israel is they donā€™t exercise restraint, particularly in the last year. Iran fucked up, incredibly. What they did makes zero sense. This was different than Aprilā€™s drone show, and I expect some sort of Israeli response after sundown Friday.
  18. No, where did I say that? I think common sense ought to prevail with the UIL and NCAA
  19. I got a full ride to University of Niagara Falls where I couldā€™ve been with my girlfriend.
  20. I hear the senate race ads. Itā€™s a political issue because Lia Thomas does happen, and itā€™s viewed as wokeness run amok. Leaving rule making to an utterly toothless organization like the NCAA is dangerous, and I am pretty certain in instances like Thomas (not a great number I would imagine), itā€™s not a vocal minority. Itā€™s the majority, at the very least, and probably vast majority. Having said that, as I said, itā€™s not an issue I get wound up about. And absolutely there are bigger fish to fry.
  21. My 14 yo sonā€™s club team would give them a run for their money. We have a kid now whoā€™s of Griner height. Once those boys get to varsity? Itā€™d be no contest.
  22. Okay, Iā€™ll answer. I donā€™t have a concern because I live in a state that shuts it down. Thatā€™s the obvious part. If I lived in say, California, I still wouldnā€™t be that concerned because itā€™s not something that would likely come up in their careers, and you can burn a lot of energy on such issues. If they did compete against a bio boy, its likely one that hasnā€™t fully transitioned and yes Iā€™d have an issue with it. My oldest daughter is a dancer and runs varsity track (100 and 200). My youngest has no interest in dance or cheer and plays volleyball, hoops, lax and runs track. Yes, they could participate collegiate, particularly the younger one.
  23. My team averaged 6ā€™4ā€ across the board. We had 2 D-1 players and a lot more than couldā€™ve played D2 (some did; I chose not to). Two Longhorns and one NBA player. We lost in the second round of playoffs. His comment was ridiculous. Weā€™d take any WNBA team.
  24. Is it not obvious in the two posts you linked? Are you that confused in this thread?
  25. I have no concern for my daughters in this matter. I made that clear in my first post. Youā€™re really confused. Upon reflection, this could be some state-level grandstanding. I donā€™t know, and as it doesnā€™t concern me or my daughters, Iā€™m gonna bow out.
