  1. For real though, what is your actual industry? I can think of about 5 that your routinely post. Serious question, you obv have a few irons in a few fires. I just noticed this response. Not yours, but the name-dropping gasbag to which you responded that I’ve had on ignore since restarting this account. Anyone who thinks prices aren’t going significantly higher, particularly oil, doesn’t know how to analyze basic supply and demand. I’m bearish on gas in short term and maybe mid term, extremely bullish on both commodities long term, and bullish on crude NOW.
  2. Let’s roll to April contract to see if we can overcome this admin’s outright assault on natural gas. If we can, we can withstand idiotic, dated and irrelevant Carl Quintanilla tweets.
  3. Leiter has been re-tooled. I expect him to make a real push for the roster. Would love to have Monty but it’s not going to happen at what he’s asking and in a few years we will be happy we didn’t commit. Developments this year will be watching Jung, Carter and Langford take big steps forward, and hoping our old Cy Youngers return to form. I’d expect Seager, Semien, Garcia, Heim and Lowe to repeat efforts. I listened to that contrarian pederast Sean Bass today talk about how the Astros were “still” the class of the West. Fucking idiot.
  4. He’s asking too much for too long a period. Guys his size don’t fare well on the back end years of a deal that long. He’d leave if someone else would give him that deal, but they’re not. There’s no market for what he’s asking. The thought is, they’d love to have him at about half the cost and half the tenor. TV deal has zero to do with it and any connection from TV deal to Monty is a smokescreen. Sucks because he was such a postseason stud, but unless he has a serious capitulation, he’s gonzo. Zero chance Bauer pitches here.
  5. Wrong. MJ was NOT in hoops shape. Easily, the Bulls win 8 in a row. Though they’re not “sweeping” the Rockets, OP, so I can’t pick an option.
  6. CHK cuts production 20%. Natty rips! 🚀
  7. Autry isn’t a grumpy guy. Hes a super nice, nerdy engineer. He is notoriously cheap. I know his daughter and son-in-law (unified with Autry against his crazy wife) and not only do they not want control of the company, he just fucking announced its sale. I don’t know about his Horns BMD endeavors. I don’t think he’d be one that’d put up Rowling type $.
  8. I should’ve hedged gas $2 ago. FML.
  9. He doesn’t give a shit about the money. But his wife does, if they’re still married. She’s crazier than a shithouse rat.
  10. I’m repeating verbatim what CY told me. I see your subsequent posts. Good talk.
  11. Goddamn that was a great debut by these two. Watched Skin’s post game interview and liked them both. Young athletic studs. Combined 33 and 14. Gafford 19 and 9 in just 17 minutes. Kleber with a nice day too. Luka didn’t even play the 4th, I don’t think.
  12. I’m intentionally forgetting mistakes made in the offseason. It would’ve taken more to get PJ than Williams anyway. Moving forward, these were both good moves.
  13. I read your first explanation of the Gafford deal and was commenting on that. I know now we gave up a first rounder next year and in ‘27 for these two guys. The pick this year should be a bottom 5-7. Who knows in ‘27. We’re getting a more advanced Lively in Gafford, and we sorely need him with Lively injuries. We’re getting a 3rd/4th scoring option with PJ. I expect him to pretty quickly start at the 4. Gafford could start as well if Lively is down, and if he’s healthy, we get a guy that’ll be in a shortened playoff rotation at worst. If you told me we got two possible starters, both 25 that both help interior D (particularly Gafford who’s more effective than Lively), that bring a combined 24.5 ppg and 13.3 rpg (both in fewer than 29 mpg), I’d part with two first round picks that are sure to be low, and probably non-lottery in ‘27. I’m not sold on some newfound ability to draft by this franchise yet, and it’s a crapshoot at best even then. Yes, we might miss out on a Josh Howard, but how many of those have we made? I like the Washington deal better because we have an opportunity to get a Brunson quality player next year. It’s sure to be a high second rounder. Clearly our roster was top heavy and pretty meh in the other starters and rotation guys. We now have significantly upgraded the talent level of the team, addressed significant needs, and gave up nothing, and we are not likely to have given up much after these drafts.
  14. Let’s distinguish between the roster today and yesterday morning. It is markedly improved. And regardless of Williams being an ill fit from the outset and us not pursuing Washington instead, I view this purely from the perspective of the team over the last 30 hours. Would you agree with this?
  15. These were both no brainer trades where the Mavs fleeced teams. You vastly overrate draft picks, particularly 2nd round picks.
  16. You just named 10 players. Not really short rotation. You forgot Kleber and Powell. Or maybe you didn’t. I don’t ever want to see Powell play. These are two excellent trades. We have significantly improved our roster.
  17. Not bad. Went to bed at 10:30 whilst the youngins did nothing good. But currently changing out of my pit stained button down. V&A’s waiters don’t leave your glass less than 1/3 full, ever Im actually not kidding about one of your clients.
  18. You should because I’m in the process of stealing one of your clients
  19. It won’t happen with his agent. There is a reason he has an incentive-laden plate appearance contingency. It’s because his agent successfully convinced Adolis to take way too much time off to the significant frustration of Bochy and CY.
