  1. The Elk is the type of organized disciplinarian that can coach up a guy like Cook.
  2. I remember a lot of instances where Chris Simms and his receivers were not on the same page. It was explained away and we all hoped it would get fixed in due time. But for various reasons the team just couldn’t win “the big game”. Are we reliving the Simms era? There are a lot of similarities. After Simms we got VY.
  3. Sark has to consider the politics and optics of his decisions, as he is the head coach. I think Sark has done a tremendous job in that regard. However, it can also be true that Manning gives us a better chance to win. I’ll trust Sark to continue making good decisions. But one thing that concerns me is making Arch a running qb. Sark hasn’t necessarily done that yet, but I’m terrified of the possibility. I still remember the post-Colt years where Mack ruined multiple talented qb’s by trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
  4. Arch should be given the same playbook as Quinn. It’s detrimental to treat him differently just because Quinn is is a frail statue. I’m not sure if sark is treating him differently, I think it’s possible, but it should not happen.
  5. I’m concerned that we’re boxing Manning into a running qb. He is a qb that can run. He’s much more advanced as a passer than Tebow. He should not be in on running plays only.
  6. There’s only one thing left to do: win the whole goddamn thing
  7. Honest post here: Wiggy needs to get far away from here. UH would be the last place he should consider. But he’s an aggy, so he’ll end up at UH smoking his own homegrown with his high school buddies.
  8. That halftime show is probably the final nail in the big 12 coffin
  9. Sark needs to make aggy his farm system. Let it be known that aggy players don’t strive to excel because they want to win a championship (obviously that’s not going to happen), but because they want an offer from The University.
  10. Does the team fly out today?
  11. That is the definition of balls to face
  12. That Ohrstrom kid had a huge impact in the Lonestar Showdown….. by getting pushed into the backfield by our defensive line on multiple fourth down plays
  13. I think it’s best for all parties if Blue enters the draft. He will test well, and some team is going to get a great weapon out of the backfield. Losing productive players to the draft is healthy for a program. It keeps the talent pipeline flowing. We need Gibson next year, and hopefully Baxter is able to contribute a lot also.
  14. It is interesting, because I doubt most football fans know who he is. I’ve never seen him do a press conference or interview, and honestly I barely knew what he looked like until the ESPN cameras showed him occasionally during the Aggy game.
  15. When does PK start receiving head coaching opportunities? And how interested would he be?
  16. It worked for Fran when he randomly decided to count the spring game as a win. Why would it not work for the rivalry? Just put it on the wall.
  17. Texas will never be able to compete in the SEC!
  18. The Elk doesn’t hire people on a whim. He meticulously investigates candidates like nothing we’ve ever seen before. The Elk’s coaching searches are so organized that even Saban has studied them. In fact, the top minds at nasa are studying his methods right now.
  19. His commitment comes a week after Brauny was talking him up to the aggy faithful. Brauny knew he was going to commit and had to get out ahead of it or else the aggy might revolt. It’s all coordinated, and the aggy always buy what Texags sells.
