RB Swift will win the OROY

I think it could happen if he gets drafted into the perfect situation. Both Chubb and Michel were better than him entering the draft. I think Jonathan Taylor has more promise.

I can't believe anyone can tell those schools apart - the town of Cypress' commitment to the world's most bland high school names is impressive.

Yeah, they just recently bucked the trend with the newest HS, Bridgeland. I think that school will produce a few high level prospects eventually. Dylan Goffney (2021) might reach that level, but he could end up settling as a G5/lower P5 prospect. QB Conner Weigman (22) picked up a VT offer in January, and they’ve been the first P5 to offer a few fast-rising prospects recently. Arkansas just offered today, and they’re a good indicator too.

  3. It doesn’t necessarily impact Texas, but Rutgers is making headway with essentially every top player in NJ. Elko and Robinson will have to deal with Schiano and Chris Partridge at Ole Miss as well. It seems like aggy has counted Tywone Malone in their class for about half a year because of Diggs and Robinson, but the Bergen mafia is tougher to tap into than that of Camden.

Looks like we may have offered 5* OT Tristan Leigh.  An east coast mod has a topic about a 5* offer in Virginia.

He'll probably end up at Clemson, but LSU and Penn St have good shots. I think LSU mods said they led recently iirc.

Roach has an article on this guy about visitng soon.  Was being recruited by Ash at Rutgers and visited them several times, so this one might actually be a possibility since we he knows Ash.

I think he ends up at Ohio State if they push, but I doubt that happens because they higher priorities. He's probably wide open, and Schiano needs to land him and other in state targets badly if he wants to get out of the B1G cellar. I think Texas has a good chance if they recruit him like a priority.

  6. OU has won five conference titles in a row, and some of y’all are casually discounting them? Compared to Texas, they’ll have a better OL, DL, LB and WR corps. Because of the o line and receivers, Rattler and their running backs could at least look better Sam and Keaontay et al. Honestly their DBs might be better too; they played better than Texas’ last season. Riley is a better coach than Herman and has done a better job of constructing their roster.

Bruins have quietly won 8 of 10.  Probably still need to win the P12 tourney, but they are at least showing signs of life under Cronin.

I noticed that when I was looking around the standings. Hopefully Cronin can keep improving the team; I've always liked UCLA hoops as opposed to Duke, Kentucky, KU, and UNC.

Who the fuck hires assistant coaches from Rutgers? What a fucking buffoon.

To be fair, Flood did well as an assistant under Schiano. It’ll be interesting to see how he does in Tuscaloosa compared to their former OL coaches.

I know that shitting on Herman is surly's raison d'etre for 2020, but he's not the problem with the Brocks and if Texas lands them it will be because of him, not in spite of him. Hand is the real issue at play, well and Blake's fucking ego. Hand has been negatively recruited against for a good while by 4-5 staffs, specifically that he has avoided staying at any jobs that prove out his ability to identify and develop a complete unit. Yancey telling the truth about his concerns with James flexibility being confirmed/echoed by Batson seems to have patched a bit of the problem there but they were salty because Blake expected backhandsprings from the staff when they saw James' increased muscle mass. The reality is that they have held Texas and Clemson to a higher standard than anyone else and I think that speaks to where they really wanted to go in the first place. Do you think they've held fucking Brent Key's feet to the flames the way they have Hand? Or the Alabama staff turnoevers? I still think they end up at Texas, honestly. Most of this is a dog and pony show, imho.

Kyle Flood is Bama’s OL coach now. Fuck that guy for starting Rutgers’ descent into football hell.
