  1. Right, I guess I just imagine Tunmise having strict Nigerian parents who'd like for him to end up at a legitimately good university.
  2. Hasn't Adeleye mentioned a strong degree being important to him in nearly every blurb? If that's really important to him, then he won't end up at OU.
  3. With the way the refs have been, I’m calling a bs foul on a 3.
  4. I haven’t seen a single non-white person in the crowd tonight. Pretty normal for Utah, but usually not this extreme.
  5. Yeah she’s usually fine, but just let Pasch call this game alone honestly.
  6. Their only scholarship QB left behind Fields is Chris Chugunov, the guy who looked atrocious as Grier’s backup at WV.
  7. The Rockets are easily the 2nd best team in the West.
  8. I’m seeing there are legitimate Scott Woodward to LSU rumors.
  9. Yeah the battles between Oregon, UW, and other national powers for Smalls + the elite 2021 guys in the Seattle area will be interesting. Cristobal's method of recruiting (along with Saban, Ryan Day, etc.) vs Petersen's clean approach will ruffle tons of feathers.
  10. FWIW, they’ll never be as talented as Clemson, Bama, Georgia, and probably Ohio State. I think they’re about to be much more talented than the rest of the pac 12 for a while (unless Petersen cleans up the insane talent in Washington in the near future). I can see them being fresh and catching enough lightning in a bottle to win two playoff games though.
  11. Yeah I agree. I think he understands how to take advantage of what Oregon can provide much more than Chip Kelly did.
  12. Nothing of substance has prompted this so go ahead and shit on it if you must, but I’ll say it anyway: Mario Cristobal will win a national title at Oregon. This would seem unfathomable if this were 2012 and his tenure at FIU were just coming to a close, but his stint at Bama rejunevated him. Cristobal is an elite recruiter and seems to be one of the only coaches in the pac 12 who understands that player development will only take a program so far. In particular, the talent the Ducks are stockpiling on the o-line will allow them to compete with any team in the nation in a few years. Of course you can’t win it all if you don’t have a great QB, and we’ll have to wait and see who they acquire in the future. I think he’ll have Oregon in a better spot than Chip Kelly ever did because he understands how to put together an entire organization seamlessly. He’s already taking advantage of the resources Oregon has, and I think he’ll be the first pac 12 coach in a while to stick it to USC and pull the best talent from under their nose consistently. It’s clear from watching his press conferences that Saban taught him well, which could very well mean he’s extremely dirty, but so be it. I’m not a Duck fan, but I just had this thought and decided to post it because it’s the off-season, and there really isn’t much discussion of other teams besides aggy and OU.
  13. Could you see them ending up with either of Max/JD Johnson?
  14. I forgot how much I hated Gobert from last year's series.
  15. I'm tempted to say OKC, but the Nuggets had their number this season. To be fair, that might not matter since you can throw out regular season series records unless it's obvious that one team is better. I think I'll say Denver just because I think Paul George will struggle in the playoffs again, and Portland doesn't have the look of a WCF team to me. I can't wait to be wrong.
  16. I think every team in the West except for the Spurs and Clippers could at least give them a tough series. Assuming the Rockets win in round one, I'm not sure if seeing the Warriors in the semifinals or conference finals is more ideal. A lot of people have been saying that we'd want to see them in the WCF because one of their key players could get injured before then, but that's not likely to happen. On the flip side, a tough seven game series win against GS could leave them drained for the WCF. That's just the nature of the playoffs. I don't like our chances against GS, but neither does anyone else (except for maybe Milwaukee).
  17. Hopefully Portland fucks up tonight; they're in a tight one against the Lakers.
  18. Utah could still drop to 6. They're about to lose to the Lakers and then have a home game against Denver followed by a road game against the Clippers. If they lose out and OKC wins out, then the Thunder would move up to 5 since they won the series against the Jazz.
  19. Hopefully we can get the 2 seed. A win on Tuesday and a Denver loss against either Utah or Minnesota would seal it.
  20. I was looking at OLBs across the board, and one that really stands out (that hasn't been offered) is Nick Herbig out of Hawaii. https://247sports.com/player/nick-herbig-46049916/ http://www.hudl.com/v/2AR32r
  21. @Fud What do you think of QB Jalen Milroe? It seems like has a lot of potential. http://www.hudl.com/v/2AxX9D https://247sports.com/Player/Jalen-Milroe-46050317/
