Longhorn fans high and mighty after getting buttfucked by schools like TCU and Baylor for the last twenty years. You and USC make the media jizz themselves over nothing every fucking year. You finally (kind of) did something this time. Good job👌

Sark used to mock one of UW’s players who had a stutter in front of the team. The guy was gonna quit when Petersen came in and coach Pete found the guy a tutor. He stayed and flourished. Great guy that sark. Not in over his head at all🤣

Disagree. Petersen’s first class, though lacking in stars, was a killer. Gaines, Vita, Dissly, Sample, Sidney Jones, Budda Baker, Dante Pettis. This idea that sark was such a better recruiter is simply not true. When he leveled up with Tosh, Sirmon, and Wilcox the recruiting got pretty good. Alabama didn’t outclass us. That UW team had NFL talent at nearly every position. They exploited our one or two weaknesses (6’1, 270 true frosh OG), Joe Mathis injured at BUCK, and Browning threw that stupid pick 6 right before half. Petersen’s problem was he would get tight in the big games and the team took on his personality. DeBoer is a level up of Petersen because he is always calm and encourages his players to let it rip.

During that mid-season lull, UW was missing some key players. ASU got great inside pressure largely because Julius Buelow (OG) was out. His return really shored up our OL (USC, I believe). He also was out against the ducks in the first matchup. Our veteran safeties (Asa Turner and Kam Fabiculanan) were also out. This really hurt the D, and their return has changed everything. Tuli Letuligasenoa (our best DT) was either out or limited during that stretch too. He’s the most important player on our D. Jaylen McMillan got hurt in the 3rd game (against Michigan State) and wasn’t 100% until the conference championship game. Many of us used to argue that he’s perhaps better than Rome Odunze. His return makes the offense complete. We speculated since the first Oregon game that Penix perhaps cracked a rib. Nobody ever confirmed this but he certainly was very ill for a time and gutted out many of those victories. Coach DeBoer is 103-11 lifetime and has coached many undefeated teams and won playoff championships. I think he was managing the team to peak at the right time and here we are. The guy has experience. He could care less about chasing stats (Oregon) and that fooled the talking heads/Vegas into all picking them. His teams have always performed best when the lights are brightest and that’s why we are all confident.

Texas is a great team. My confidence is more rooted in watching what UW’s done since DeBoer got here. This team reminds us all of the Marques Tuiasosopo 2000 team of destiny that beat Miami (best team ever?) and won the rose bowl for their paralyzed brother Curtis Williams. They’re so locked in it’s crazy. UW is pretty similar to last year but has a much better secondary (added CB Jabbar Muhammad), mainly due to familiarity with the system in year 2. Our safeties look like completely different guys from last year. RB Dillon Johnson (Mississippi State) is a complete back and a big upgrade from last year. UW could absolutely lose this game but I would never bet against them. They’ve so been through the fire. Coach K is the other god and the best decision sark ever made. He was beyond loyal to coach Petersen and sark came in at the right time (when Jimmy douchebag Lake was HC) to snatch him away. No coach K and where would Texas be?? That being said, we got 3 NFL receivers, a veteran stud qb, an OL full of NFL talent and a healthy defense that had to win many games to keep us undefeated when health was a major issue. Everybody’s healthy now. I do pull for Texas and sark most of the time. Happy he’s turned it around. Happy for Choate. I’ll be in New Orleans and it should be fun.

Just telling you what to expect. The guy melted down when we ended his SC career. He wore a carpetbagger hat and berated a field attendant last year. It’s going down again. DeBoer is DeGod👌👌Started sweating and squatting Steve😎
