The night is young....starting out with some bubbles!
  3. Stopped by for a pour after work.
  4. This is all I have ever done and never a problem. If you have a v-drive drain that as well. For as long as I can remember my dad did this to our competition boats when I was a toddler. On another note please do not rely on a blanket or light bulb. If the power/light goes out your toast of it stays really cold for multiple days.
  5. I started flight training the other day and need to buy a headset. Looking at both the Bose A20 and Lightspeed Zulu 3. Any opinions on either of these?

I have both of those but it seems we always end up using the universal stems. We typically start with bubbles then move on to whites and from there to reds. You can use the same glass for everything! Oh and a little tip.....start using universal stems for Champagne.
  7. Need some help.....Leaving Horseshoe Bay in the morning and dropping off some relatives in Austin at the airport. Just found out they have been in Texas for a week and not had any BBQ! Where would be a good place to stop around 11am? I’m thinking Terry Blacks might be my best bet?

Send it over. I’ll let you know if it’s any good!
  10. Looking to buy a new truck for my company. The truck we are replacing is a crew cab Tundra. The truck is driven mainly on the highway but some city driving. Pulling a lightly loaded 18’ trailer a couple of times a year for no more than 10-15 miles each time. I have been looking at the Ram crew cab but in a V6. The Tundras just haven’t changed much in the past ten years when the Ram has more creature comfort features. Thoughts?

Trying to reacquaint my senses after a brief battle with COVID!
  12. A Texas winterization only takes about 5-10 minutes tops. Drain both sides of the block. Drain the v-drive and water pump. Once you have a nice winter day just put the plugs back in block and you are good to go.
  13. What do I win if I can pronounce his name?

My social director asked for some vino tonight. Picked this up from ACV recently.

Nice find! I was offered a OWC 3-pack of 14 La Tache a couple of weeks back. Turned down the offer but always a unicorn when found at retail.

I have not had the Rochioli. Will need to look into that SB. My go to patio pounder is either Galerie or Quivet. Best QPR goes to Galerie. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
