  1. This. I tried to explain what happened to my kids while eating breakfast yesterday morning. Asked them if they know why they do lock down drills. I completely broke down. Cried every time I thought about what happened. All day. Today I woke up in extreme anger. I'm fucking done. Time to make other plans for where I raise my family.
  2. Well as long as there wasn't malicious intent, that's all that matters. People never get hurt without malicious intent. I'm literally looking on Zillow for the past 4 hours trying to figure out where to move.
  3. This exact same thing happened to my FIL in Dallas about 25-30 years ago, except without the clever comeback. Highly successful doctor mistaken for a yard man at his Highland Park house. He is still quite proud of that. And if you think about it...
  4. I'm a little the same way. The upside is it makes the 5th or 6th time I watch it just as good as the first. One of the last overseas trips I took before Covid hit had the entire MI catalog as an option. I started at #3 and just kept going.
  5. From Hamm's wikipedia page: He lit a pledge's jeans on fire, shoved his face in the dirt, and struck him with a paddle over his right kidney,[19] before leading the pledge around the fraternity house with a hammer claw around the pledge's testicles
  6. That's hilarious. I hope someone asks him when he got his money and he can admit it was before he ever signed. Too stupid to know any better.
  7. I'm almost 45, a father of 3 boys aged 10 and under, and I just cemented my status as "loser" by having to google to make sure this dude hadn't gotten into comedy.
  8. This sentence made me laugh. Glad you clarified that you were describing a realistic scenario
  9. We recently got 4 chickens. Apparently the completely cracked out dude that sold my wife the chicken from his parents farm/puppy mill/rabbit mill gave my wife a rooster by mistake. Sure looked like a rooster to me when she brought it home. My wife claims no way, he knew we didn't want a rooster. 5:45am on day 2..."COCK-A-DOODLE-DO!!!" My response: "Well, that would explain Big Momma's poor egg production" I was quite thrilled to be able to use that line as intended. My wife was not.
  10. I don't remember anyone asking me to have my shit together, and at no time have facts ever come into play on this website.
  11. Preparing my butthole for what the 2022 appraisal will bring out here in Driftwood.
  12. His ideal weight if he was 11 feet tall
  13. Good info. It's a pretty damn cool looking spider.
  14. PSA there are Zoom interview spots open this evening for Global Entry approval (TSA Pre included). I just had my conditional approval email yesterday and checked on interview schedules. Everything booked for months, expect tonight starting at 530pm. Log into your account and check
  15. Not an expert, but I think that's part of the widow family (i.e. extremely dangerous). They can have all sorts of different markings other than the classic hourglass. P.s. are you still alive?
  16. Same way we feel about your posts
  17. LOL. I started frantically googling "Tom Herman UCF" because I couldn't believe I missed an announcement. That screen shot is hilarious.
  18. She was a fairly major character on Wings for multiple years. This type of stuff scares the shit out of me. I'm 44. I have 3 boys aged 10 and under. I don't consider dying at 54 a reality I want to even consider. Yet people die younger than that all the time. God damn.
  19. Loved him in Grossed Pointe Blank
  20. Quick csb on that Risk map... I took a history class one summer at ACC, must have been 1996. On each test there was extra credit that asked you to identify 5 shaded countries on the world map. One test had a country shaded that I had no clue, but it was pretty damn close to what I knew as "Congo" from Risk. So I went with that. I had no idea it was called Zaire at the time, but he gave me credit anyway, as it was called Congo prior to 1971. And btw the name changed back in 1997.
